EC's 19pt win over Bridge City and their dismantle of WOS are pretty impressive to me. Orangefield was a tough matchup, that win probably impressed me the most. The resiliency of the team to fight back and win. They had two spurts in the game in which they outscored OF by 10 in less than two minutes. A 12-2 run (to start the game) and a 10-0 run. Kountze-East Chambers will be a fun game to watch. 

EC did not lose to Orangefield. EC is undefeated on the season. Beat WO-S in finals of Evadale tourney by 30

You have to be quick.  That lady at Evadale clears the clock about 1.8 seconds after the final buzzer.  
Very impressive game by the Bucs.  EC is going to be fun to follow this year.  

I love sitting behind his bench and watching/listening to him coach.  He is just one of the greats and is always so generous with his time in discussing the game.  And as classy as they come.

Any predictions on this district this season? My four playoff teams are East Chambers, Kountze, Buna, and Anahuac. No particular order, although I do think EC wins this district. Won't put my money on it until they bet Kountze in the regular season. EC was a young squad last season, they have already shown great improvement on the football field, and played their best basketball at the end of the season. What're everyone's thoughts? 

EC has everyone returning, except two players. They looked solid during summer league, offseason weight program put some pounds on them. EC will surprise people this season.

3. Buna ... the rest will be random order. I’m pulling for Kountze but someone will have to step up and take over for this team. EC was really young last year plus got a couple of move ins . Buna I honestly don’t know much about but could very well flip flop with Kountze. Best of luck to Kountze though, always pulling for my alma mater .

Can't  wait to see what EC looks like think there deep enough  to make a real  state run.

EC has been much better at home this season. Hitchcock looks to be a very good team, but still think EC ha stage ability to win the game. Finishing off drives with points will be crucial for the Bucs. This game will more than likely decide the district championship. EC 24 Hitchcock 21 in a battle.

Sounds like defense is holding its own.. where's that offense at? Figured #24 would have 3 tds by now! He's a stud
