Maybe but gilmer was able to beat them last year and you seen what we did to them

I'm sure the Longview, Lone Star, Ennis and Highland Parks of the world would love to beat Carthage's head in on a regular basis but there's absolutely zero value in it.

Center was ranked 10 when played I figured china was didn't really look since they blew out 2 and 4 ranked wos and jasper my bad on that.  Pg was 2 when we played them,#4 gilmer first game not sure on ranking when we played em 2nd time

The rankings I listed was their ranking at the times we played them. Manvel, Texas High, Huntsville, FB Marshall and Liberty Hill were all undefeated at the time we played them. Aledo had a loss to Cedar Hill but was still ranked #2 when we played them in the title game. That's six ranked teams, one of them being a class above us. I'm looking at it as what they were ranked when we played them, otherwise I would be throwing BH in there who was ranked at #9 at one point last year. 

I only see four teams that finished the season ranked in the top 10 on Carthage's schedule, #3 - #6. 

Yeah at finish maybe but kilgore pg gilmer played twice center jasper china spring salado wimberley were all top ten when we played them 

My bad max preps had it as a no contest forfeit guess thats what I get for using them

Barbers only made it to second round because there first rd game could not be played Nederland folded soon as they played a team with a pulse what were those teams ranked at the end of the year? I mean depending on when you look at the rankings carthage played 8 games against top ten teams  played the number2 ranked team twice in pg and then gilmer was ranked #2 by end of season

Yeah real tough scedule had 2 team out first ten games make it past first rd of playoffs

When and who did these rankings?

Carthage d gave up 100 pts last year with almost everyone returning  so you may be surprised how good they are also yalls offense may be better by end of the year I just don't see how they could be better with so many new faces first game of the year

Well for one that was three years ago just had a off night it happens and if I'm not mistaken yall lucky yall didn't get beat by them last year and just cause we are a small school I think you will be surprised what our personnel look like there is a reason we have ran 4a last 10+ years both division

Lol honestly I really can't even try to make an prediction nor should anyone else be able to since one first game of season,2 these teams have never played each other before and three with the whole covid situation with carthage not really sure what kinda team they are going to be able to field

Well for carthage the bar is a state championship and we was running thru 4ad1 too before got moved down 

They will see another good one Thursday not totally sure what we will get out of our offense  but judging by scores they gave up last year I think we will be ok

The defense will be the strength of carthage returning all but 2 from last year

We shall see  and carthage has not scrimmage marshall this year was post to play them week 3 but they refused and yall will prolly find out why

But as far as predictions can't really say now cause don't know what kinda team carthage will show up with
