I agree with most of that. A&M is rated too high, but could surprise people if they can field a decent defense. As for Bama, I agree. I'm not saying the SEC will be down this year, but I do think the talent is more evenly spread out than years past. There could be a whole bunch of 2 loss teams without a truly dominant power. This could be the year that a 2 loss sec champ gets left out of the playoff. I can't wait to read all of the threads yall start when that does happen.

Speith missed the playoff by a few inches on 18. He proved once against he is the best player on the planet. He didn't have his best stuff this weekend and still had a shot at the end.

Paul Dunne played college golf this year at UAB with his best round of the year being 67. He shot 66 in the 3rd round of the British Open. Talk about timing.

There are currently 3 amateurs in the top 6 and 15 golfers within 3 shots of the lead. This should be a great final round.

On a side note this is Mobile's first time to play in the Southwest regional. They were always in the Southeast with Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Viginia, and Tennessee. The Alabama Rawdawgs as they are know has won 7 Babe Ruth World Series Titles since 2000 including 4 of the last 5. They beat MC 2-0 in the championship 2 years ago. It was sure nice to not have to worry about them until the World Series in the past.
