  2. 56-27 SEC leads. I mean LSU
  3. Fournette with TD #5 LSU leads 49-27
  4. Grant will do well on Sunday's with the right team
  5. I could gain 10 through that hole. Tech's D is done
  6. Why is he Mahomes II and not Jr.?
  7. Why pass? He's terrible
  8. Grant can fly. He's fun to watch
  9. 1st career receiving TD for Fournette. That's crazy
  10. NCAAF: 3 Clemson players, including WR Deon Cain, have been sent home from Orange Bowl for failed drug tests - wow.
  11. That record may last about 3 hours
  12. Coming into the game Fournette needed 248 yards rushing for 2,000. He had 40 on the 1st drive.
  13. Fournette might break the record tonight
  14. I heard a rumor he's going to be A&M's offensive coordinator for the bowl game tomorrow.
  15. Does he sit next year and have his pick of college jobs the year after?
  16. I passed up a free ticket in a suite tonight at NRG for LSU-Tech. I'm kicking myself about now.
  17. Is Baylor playing RB's at QB again?
  18. All three 5-7 bowl teams won 5-7 teams have gone a perfect 3-0 in their bowls for a combined record of... 18-21! Time to celebrate!
  19. ESPN did make a good investment. It was cheaper to lose millions on the LHN and keep the Big 12 together than it would be if the conference blew up and tv contracts had to all be renegotiated. BTW these next rounds of tv contract negations aren't going to go well for the schools. The way people pay for TV is changing and the networks are already starting to make cuts.
  20. The Sun Bowl is an oxymoron today
  21. A tragedy that killed 12 students and the death of a 90 yr old man that lived a great life aren't the same. If I make it to 90, I hope they have a party at my funeral. I'm sure Jamail felt the same way.
  22. Here is a pretty good article on Jamail and some of the cases he tried. [Hidden Content]
  23. I wasn't laughing. The man was one of the most successful litigators in history and greatly loved his university. We all wish we had benefactors like him for our schools.
  24. Charlie drove him to the grave @kbohls UT officials confirm that Houston attorney and long-time Longhorn benefactor Joe Jamail, 90, has died.
  25. I played against a kid that had 1 arm in a tournament years ago and the kid was phenomenal. He hit little bloopers over the infield everytime batting right handed using his back hand with not much power. We had him scouted and knew exactly how to play him with our outfielders way in. His first 2 at bats against us in the championship game, he hit 2 shots to the wall. He hit over .750 for the tournament and was named mvp. It was truly one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen in sports.
