A&M’s strength of schedule is #36. Texas is 55. 5-2 against a tougher schedule is better than 3-4 no matter how you slice it. A&M’s defense has been playing a lot better. We start our own true freshman QB that is improving each game. 18 other true freshman play significant minutes each week. This year has probably been Sumlin’s best coaching job to date with all of the young guys rotating in. The main thing I have noticed is that the team hasn’t quit late in games like they have in the past. Hopefully they can keep it up.

That True freshman QB has cost you 2 games with those intangibles. In his defense he was concussed at the end of both games and his coach kept running him out there. At least they have a preseason Heisman favorite to trot out there for Baylor this week.

I guess you and I have different opinions on what constitutes “way down.” and what exactly has Herman done in those 4 losses that leads you to believe he has them headed in the right direction? They aren’t getting blow out at least, so I guess that’s an improvement. His one decent win was against Iowa St before they switched Qb’s to the guy that can actually throw. K-State(3-4) on a comeback double OT game and San Jose St aren’t impressive. Both are considerably worse than Florida.

A&M is 5-2 and play 18 freshman including at QB. They are a 2nd half meltdown from being 6-1 and a top 10 team in the country. I don’t get how that’s awful....

Maybin changed the game last night with his lead off hit abs stolen base. The thing that concerns me is Reddick is one of our leaders on the field and we need that in the postseason. We get to use the DH for the next 3 games so that should help. Hopefully AJ doesn’t do the lefty/righty crap and just let’s Gattis hit all 3 games. McCann needs to practice bunting to 3rd base against the shift. Especially late in games when we need runners.
