What an atmosphere!
First time I had seen either team this year and the better team won tonight. Yes there were some crappy calls by the refs but that's high school football for you and good teams over come that and Kirbyville did just that.
Kirbyville took over in the 2nd qtr. Their defense gave EC offense fits all night long. Hope the Silcox kid is ok, but Kirbyville is the better team, no doubt.

Just watched the 4th Qtr. AWFUL AWFUL mismanagement by officiating crew. 2 MAJOR timing errors at the end of the game.

Deweyville vs. Garrison will likely determine the 4th spot out of this district (Newton, Crockett, Corrigan - suspect to be beat). Does the Jolly Roger have a shot?

Same with Nederland in football. HJ, Nederland is the "end all, be all"

So if they move to HJ, it's "okay." If any where else, it's "I can't believe the UIL...."

The UIL rules say that if a parent gets a job that requires a move then the child can attend and participate in varsity sports immediately if they move to that district. However, lots of people change jobs and don't move but, their new job is in a different school district. If a parent changing jobs without having to move meant a kid could change schools and play varsity right away then you know what kind of Pandora's box that would open. So you have to think of it not just in terms of coaches changing jobs but, any parent changing jobs.
That is why everything is based on residency. You go to school where you live.

Neither. But i graduated from LCM. I support LCM and probably haven't missed a game in the last 6 years. Plus there is not many LCM fans that get on here other then Bear2001 to support the team. Are you a LCM fan?

FYI, PAISD has internal problems like BISD. Will come out sooner rather than later. Just depends who decides to go after them.

My opinion doesn't mean much.
What I saw was that H-D was the much bigger team, but didnt have an identity on offense.
Sabine Pass won the 1st 3 quarters then were pretty tired by the 4th qtr and H-D defense capitalized on 2 turnovers.
Don't think it had anything to do with the refs. H-D was lucky to come away with a W.
