It looks like Smith has went back to play like he did at the beginning of the season. Holding on to the ball to long and not trusting that his WR will get open. Then the dropped balls hurt us. The defense kept JT in the game waiting on the offense to get going. You can't wait for a team to pull close to you ans then start playing. There were too many drives stopped inside the 20 all night. I have to get it to the Corsicana front seven they did their job stopping JT from running the ball and making Smith try to beat them with his arm.

This crap is unacceptable you hit our QB 3 to 4 seconds after he hands the ball off because you are upset that you lost a game and your coach does nothing about it. Also, the refer didnt even throw a flag

they thought since went 0-3 in pre-season and had a hard time beating Lindale that it was going to be a cake walk aginst JT. Everyone was saying that JT was going to get blow out. Because Lufkin beat Nac 38-0 and Whitehouse 48-3. Even the new papers wasn't giving JT the time of day. What really pissed me off was some of the JT fans throwing their own team under tthe bus, because the season isn't going the way you want it to. I mean jave some faith in your coaches and the team.

John Tyler finally got the offense on the right track, however, the defense still gave up over 500 yards for the second straight week. Which is something that needs to get better over time. 
On the other hand, Lindale has shown that they they aren't willing to be a doormate in the district anymore and is looking for their very first win over John Tyler. Lindale started the district off right with a 19-7 win over Corsicana. Who many ithet would beat Lindale, since, they were the only team in 16-5a with a 3-0 record.

the play that has been killing Lufkin is the speed option pitch. Nac has giving up the big pass plays.
