4th. I bet Ozen loses to someone they shouldn't like Ned vs GCM last year.
I doubt anyone from 5 thru 8 will beat Ozen. After 3 years of turmoil in the program the current 14 starters under Suggs are in the middle of their first full off season since they have been in high school. The only way I see them missing the playoffs is if Ozen like a lot of schools without big numbers suffer key injuries doing the season. As always its how well they come out of their annual brutal preseason. We will see.

School boards are there to make policy and oversee the financial security of the district. They are not there to run the day to day operations. They collectively hire a Superintendent and that man or woman then makes decisions deligated to them by district policy. When hireing a new Coach a list of applicants is gathered and then interviewed, the list is shortened and finally the Superintendent makes a request for action presenting his choice to the board...the board should be behind their man they picked to run the District and not attemp situational or micro-management.
Spot on

Move OT from 25 back to 40. 25 is just too easy in HS. It could do away with these 3 and 5 OT games.
I'm with you on this one. As it is now all you need is a 5 yd pickup and you are within range of most decent HS field goal kickers. I believe you should have to pickup at least a 1st down before you get into scoring range.

This should be good

Terrible defense coming out of a timeout by UCONN

off night...they has a couple of kids that can fill it up. One of the behind the arc specialist is Chelsea Gloude

As for Ozen no one stands out from the pack. They don't have any bigs. But what they do have is 12 guards that will fill up the basket and run you out of the gym.

21-6A is fun this year. A lot of teams can compete at a close level. Margin for error is slim. As a direct response to "How's LP's defense?", LP held Deer Park to 6 points. Right now, LP has some injury issues. The Border War is always a very physical matchup. But, that's why LP plays quite a few backups in predistirct. Need the in-game experience because we know 21-6 is a physical district. We'll see how that's prepared them around 2:00-4:30 pm today against an undefeated Sterling team that's back on the rise.
Good Luck to both teams, and stay injury free.
Cant wait to see what happens next week in this district.
