  4. if there is any wobble it will be to the east. now when it makes it turn inland to wnw/due west is a different story. the good thing if there is any good, gustav is killing off hanna 8)
  5. id have to take Michael. only because he's bigger
  6. remember 3 years ago katrina was suppose to hit N.O., it bobbled east hrs before it came ashore.
  7. houma eh? that means its going right over new orleans remember 3 years ago katrina was suppose to hit N.O., it bobbled east hrs before it came ashore.
  8. this is the main part of the article i was reading about a few days ago "A storm surge of more than 15 foot would put extreme pressure on New Orleans' flood defenses. The city is still vulnerable to a surge from the east, as happened during Hurricane Katrina, and to a lesser extent from Lake Pontchartrain to the north," commented Dr. Christine Ziehmann, director of model management at RMS. "The levees have been strengthened since Katrina, but only about a quarter of the planned work on the city's flood defenses has been completed, which would provide protection against a hurricane that occurs on average once every one hundred years." evacuating early---great fixing the levees---pure hot garbage of a job.
  9. i dont know what model he was looking at but i dont see it ???
  10. imma pour one up for new orleans in a minute, got a feeling imma be seeing what i saw 3 years ago
  11. no, its headed straight toward new orleans.
  12. i think Coop hightailed it to deep East texas
  13. stronger than Katrina. it could do more damage than her if it stalls out, not to mention if the levees dont work, in which i just read something that the mayor said---if the surge is more than 15-20 ft N.O. will be flooded again.
  14. i hope you live on a hill or something, this thing suppose to stall out where ever it hits.
  15. New Orleans is going to get a massive storm surge, sure hope the levees work
  16. its funny he created it, cause he needs it as well.
  17. I wouldn't say Newton is down. Corrigan has tradition and state titles to go along with it. Newton barely beat them last year 24-20. exactly why i picked CC to win this year. CC is a state title contender this year. tell me this...c.c went 4 rounds 2 years ago....3 rounds last year....and cant find them on any state ranking...why is that.. suppose to be a rebuilding year, boy were they wrong.
