And actually out-did us in it (2011) I think that scrimmage pretty much pissed them off, and they took it out on Central that very next week, wasn't a pleasant atmosphere at the Butch that night.

That year Nerdland beat Dawson (2012) was probably the most overall complete team we ever had, just had key injuries it seemed like every week when district started. Dawson was a very undisciplined team from what I saw even before they played Nerdland. Dawson, a team that if you could expose their flaws they looked like an average opponent, no doubt that year if it were played we win that ballgame. IMO Texas City should've beaten em, other than those two it was a somewhat weak district. Dawson underestimated their opponent (Nerdland) that night at NRG.

Yeah. They came down in 2012 and tried to run wishbone, flexbone, and whatever else bone they thought would work, I left after one quarter, Sterling fans were leaving at the same time, they had players making orders to get stuff from the concession stand, and it was mist & light rain, worse football night of the year, then as soon as I get to Nerdland to watch them and Ozen I see Mr. Camp getting burnt before halftime, I went home, wasted all kinds of gas and time that Friday, I blame Sterling.

Actually it was them playing the LBs up close that hurt us, I know for a fact Dekaney watched our film and game planned from it, hence them shutting Steele down and winning State.

We got love cause of Marler (R.I.P.) nobody was checking for us after he left for TJ. SFA was the football school around here for years til he left. But oh well. Trust me: an abundance of coverage will happen once Memorial starts winning again. You'll see what I mean in November. You probably will get tired of it.
