Those are pretty strong words, and I don't know if I totally agree. LCM will have an excellent chance if their pitching throws a shutout. Here's hoping for the game to be decided on the field, by the players. Good luck to both teams.

Everyone deserves better. I probably would not have gone to the game anyway. My plans are to watch BC, and listen to Jasper. But for any fans out there that have not seen McMillon pitch, and want to see him, I hope that you get a chance to see him pitch against BC next week.

Jasper can make noise also; and as you say if the tickets are divided equally........... The noise probably will be a non-factor.

Well, for sure that worked for Jasper against China Spring. It is strange to me that LCM apparently thought one game series were good up until this week though....... The number of games, and the stadium are two different issues.

Perhaps both sides are parsing their comments somewhat. I tend to more believe the Jasper version of using Beck field. That is all that seems to make sense to me from a fans standpoint. The fans, all fans, not just Jasper and LCM fans are the big losers in this. After LCM and Jasper sell their alottment of tickets to the game, there probably will be none at all for people that would like to see a good game, and some just might like to see McMillan pitch. Who knows what the future holds, but someday he might be one of those stories you could tell your grandkids about seeing pitch. Then again, maybe not. Beck field would have still been a "home" game for LCM. If Jasper had not cared about the fans, they could have insisted on a Houston or Huntsville venue to get the game away from the screaming GT fans. But it is what it is. Carthage brought plenty of screaming fans to Lufkin. It still did not win the game for them. Let's play ball.

This might be funny if not so serious. It does not appear that Jasper knowingly agreed to flip to play at LCM. I think what is going to happen is that it is going to rain, rain, rain, until the only viable option is to play the game on Jasper's brand new field.

Now if he can scratch out a couple runs off McMillon......

You are right about the number of fans. It appeared yesterday that Joaquin and Lovelady pretty much filled the stands. LCM and Jasper would overflow the place. But If LCM wants to do home and home.......
