I don't think it was a very big upset. WOS and Silsbee had played close in their previous games. This time, it was the Stangs turn. Now, Go Stangs, win state!

Good luck Stangs! I saw Jasper handle Madisonville reasonably easily at this same site. I think WOS should make the Regional finals for sure. Your quickness will give them trouble.

I did not get to see Finley play so I will have to take your word for it. I am surprised not to see this thread filled with Diboll posts about how they are going to whup up on the little Dogs from Jasper. Tonight we will see. I hope you are right on your prediction.

But surely Diboll had more than Finley last year???

No prediction from me. I don't know anything about Diboll's team this year, but they did go to the state tournament last year. I expect that Diboll will be expecting to pick up a fairly easy playoff victory over the Jasper Dogs. Jasper at 15-15 for the year is not going to put a scare into very many teams.

Those Silsbee Tigers seem to always find a way to win when it counts. Playing Silsbee twice should give Jasper some good experience for the playoffs. Maybe the third time will be the charm for Jasper.
