  1. Not sure how this game is going to be!  I have heard tha Caldwell is good and know that the Cats better show up ready in this next game!  Gotta go with my Cats!  I figured that they will announce where the game will be tomorrow because of the late night for the Cats last night!

Hey Coop, is it supposed to rain Fri. and Sat...Heard last nighton the news that it is going to be wet and cold!

  2. OK i play for hj and we played both of these teams we beat cleveland 22-14 and lost to k-ville 52-16 so i know how well both of these teams play and how dominating k-ville can be when they are playing at their peak so im gonaa go with k-ville by 40

Thank you hawks77!  Finally someone who played both of these teams this year is giving this arguement some reason!  And you know very well that the score between kville and hj could have been alot worse!  Alverez called the dogs off in that game!  Can't wait to see this game come Sat!

  3. so if we beat them pretty bad at the first of the season... and both teams have supposedly "come a long way" wouldn't the score be pretty much the same?? Sorry Indians.

    GOOD LUCK KIRBYVILLE.

You took the words out of my mouth!  Thanks ;)  Hey Cleveland fans!  Complaining about not getting any respect won't earn you a win.  Ask us Kville fans about that!  We only jumped half of those hurdles this year!  If you look at it in every way possible you are over matched!  Paper, records, stats, and experience!  You can even look at the two districts and compare!  Yes, you may have gotten better, but a 4-6 record dosen't show for it very well!  Also, understand that Kville has improved from the begining of this year to even last year!  I honestly wish your team the best of luck, but Kville is too strong for you!

  4. Has been like this all season long. Cleveland hasn't gotten any respect despite beating some good Football teams. I am not going to make any predictions but I do think this will be a good game. Cleveland is not the same team they were at the beginning of the year. They have a lot of fight in them, that team has come a long way.

Not discounting what they have done, but Kville has come along way also!  For once they are healthy and they are hitting their stride at the right time!

  5. Some of these predictions are out right comical!  Kvilles' only lose came at the hands of a Top 10 team in WOS as we all know, and the tale of the two halves in that game are polar opposites!  With the boys healthy as they are and the statement game against HF Friday night!  This game can and probably will get out of hand really fast!  A little note to Cleveland fans!  HF beat Silsbee 35-14, Kville beat Silsbee 29-28, and Kville obliterrated HF 68-29!!!  And Silsbee was a pretty dang good football team that just missed the playoffs!  IF they could have thrown the ball with success they would have made it!  Kville wins this one!  Good luck to both teams!

  6. Pretty dang good!  But, I am soing to go out on a limb and say that neither one of these lines could hang with the Kville drumline from the late 90's preferably the line from the fall of 98. ;D  Yes I was on that line as a Snare, and we were big and one of the best in the state from any class!  Just ask the judges from State Marching Contest that year!  All in all, it is great to see this going on!  Good job on both sides!

  8. This was a great game!  Back and forth all night long!  Yes, the refs were  a bit too inconsistant!  Penalties on both sides that weren't called.  I feel that they waited untill the game was on the line to start throwing the hankies!  Something that hurt both teams at times and ultimitly Silsbee!  I agree with the post on the called block in the back!  From the k-ville side it looked like a hold more than anything!  As for the TD fumble; I was sitting on that corner of the field and it was very close!  Could have gone either way!  It did look like he fumbled it before he got in and the ball crossed the plain around where the pylon was before it was knocked down.  I feel that if the pylon would have been standing it would have been clearer!  I was glad to see the players on both sides play hard all game and not see any foolishness!  Both teams and coaches showed alot of class through the game!  Good luck to the Tigers next week!  Gonna be another good one!  Good job Cats!

  9. Yeah Rhodes is the featured back in the offense, but there are still 4 fresh horses in the stable!  B. Jackson(Junior) is a mix of power and speed, Little Rhodes(Soph) is alot like big brother but provides fresh legs, B. Burley is a freaking bowling ball when he is moving , and the freshman S. Jackson is one special kid!  He has good size, speed and skill!  A name to look for in the future!  After only seeing Stefan Jackson in two games I am quite impressed with his abilities!  Not saying that this is going to be a cake walk but there is plenty of backs for Alverez to use!  Has all the making of a classic!

  10. The offense showed that they can still put up the points, but I have wondered all year when the loss of our DC would possible hurt us!  I knew that when Barbay left it could possible hurt us, and last night it almost did!  I tell you what though; it looks like it will be a fight for the 2nd and 3rd spot for the playoffs!  It is still up for grabs!  Good job Wildcats on getting back in the win column!

  11. Rhodes and Garrett are too close to compare!  Both are very good RB's!  Yet, it amazes me that Rhodes is able to put up the numbers he does while playing a key role on defense!  I would say that he is possibly the best all-round player in the district! After them, I would say it is a fight for 3rd.
