I guess this would be an equally bad time to remind Tragic that Josh Mitchell (Lumberton) and Bill Barstow (WO-S) are "EUROPEAN AMERCIAN."
Look, if you don't agree with the pick for COTY, that's fine.  But to try and forward this bull that this was a "racial" vote given that an African-American was selected and by your own tally (which can't even be trusted) two white coaches voted for your favorite is something that is not appropriate for this forum as is indicating it was the case for selection of the all-district team.  You want to talk race, we have a political forum for that.

I would take a couple of the players you mentioned ahead of McClure but that’s just me.

Back to back school record years.  Yes, a very good group of young men.  Proud of them.  Played a great game against a formidable opponent.  Congrats to them and Coach Mitchell.

So proud of this Raider team! Broke the most wins in school history with 24 wins and got the program’s first playoff win!!!! Beyond proud

Raiders stayed in play with their free throws GREAT job and super proud of them...

Congrats to PNG on the win. We are not quite where we need to be to pull off that upset but we are getting there.  Coaches will continue to make these kids better. I thought both defenses played well and both offenses struggled. Our defense will keep us in games and or offense will continue to get better. Earlier, someone said it best that playing one game hurt us. I would agree but can't worry about that now. 
PNG QB is for real. Hard to believe he is just a soph.  Bright future ahead if he stays healthy and keeps a good head on his shoulders. Super impressive player. Keep working hard and he'll go anywhere in the country that he wants. 
Keep your head up Lumberton and keep listening to your coaches and believing in each other.  Do something to get better every day. 

Lumberton impressed me tonight. Their defense is good but too many kids playing both ways it looked as by the 4th quarter they just didnt have any gas left. Good luck next week against Livingston.

I'm sure lumberton will get the win. Probably a couple adjustments is all lumberton needs I'm sure 

I agree, Livingston won't make it and I doubt vidor will. Lumberton should see at least another game after the regular season. 

It's sad that y'all have a D1 guy who really wasn't a factor at all. It's almost like he refused to block on wr screens thrown his way.

Would be nice to have Shults this year in Lumberton. Hate to hear about his knee. You have to have a Coach be able to install his program and then stay long enough to instill his program in the kids. Parents have to back off and then let them do their job. Babin is a very fiery, young coach who has them heading in the right direction. I enjoyed coaching against him and am now enjoying watching him coach my son for the last 2 years. It is not an overnight change. And it really wasn't rough being a Raider fan last year,  just like its not gonna be rough being one this year.

He only importunes us because he deep down inside really likes Lumberton. He has something in common with Lumberton. Lumberton reminds him a lot of himself when he was growing up. The kid on the block that always got bullied and never could stand up for himself. Then, the day came when he had an opportunity to thwart the negativity off himself and join the bullies and begin to lampoon others. However, the one thing Mr. Stattrash does not realize, is that this is where the commonalities between himself and Lumberton come to an end. The New Era in Lumberton is being taught that they no longer have to keep taking everyone's crap! They do not have to stoop to everyone's level and turn the negativity off of themselves by joining in and lampooning others. Naw, they are being taught to become smarter, stronger, and faster. Get pissed off! Set a goal! Day by Day! Game by game! Work for it! Plan for it! You want respect? Then go kick their arse!! Will this happen this Friday? I don't know! But it dang sure will be fun finding out!
