  1. Whoopie he just wants to talk about K-Ville so he can try to forget that 31-7 lead Malakoff had....

You can talk about blowing a lead all you want, but do you know who they were playing? The 3X defending state champs. The ONLY team in 3A that has 1-way players. Malakoff got tired. It was 24 to 27 vs Malakoff's 15. Seriously, only 15 kids played for Malakoff, the entire game.

  2. Malakoff needs to learn how to not blow 31-7 leads, or is that too soon?

not hanging our heads. Yoe played 22 guys, Malakoff played 15. Depth eventually took over. We whipped their tail for the better part of 3 and 3/4 quarters and they'll admit it. Having nearly 150 less students, you get a few more to choose from. They were laying all over the field in the 1st half. Big RB went out 3 times acting like he was hurt. Little WR had 2 personal fouls and faked cramps. 1-way players!!

  3. I'll eat crow, no big deal. That's what any football expert would say about Kirbyville. I gave you guys some credit, ya'll have tremendous athletes. QB is a stud. What makes Daingerfield's defense successful at times is they send the house. A prime example is when your kids didn't blitz Buna, they marched down the field. When your kids did blitz Buna, albeit in the wrong gap(2 kids in the same gap is not good), they hit them in the backfield and caused turnovers. Not saying that's a bad deal, but it's undisciplined and will get you guys beat at some point. Ex: 2015 unhealthy Rockdale team...

  4. No I know exactly what Kville is. QB, legit. Should probably be in the spread with all their athletes and throw out that unbalanced wing crap. Got a good LB in 24 but he takes off whenever and wherever he wants. D Line doesn't maintain gap control. Receivers are good athletes but run undisciplined routes. In a nutshell, Kville is just like Daingerfield plus the unbalanced wing set, but they don't have a threat like Mims on the outside.

  5. 1. You have to play in front of scouts.

    2. You have to be good enough to play at the next level. If you're not good, you ain't going anywhere. If you feel like you're a big time guy or you have a big time kid, go to Perfect Game. If you're legit, somebody will call.

You have to go in to jucos with the mindset that the coaches aren't there to develop guys for 3 or 4 years, it's a "what can you do for me now" business at the juco level. They only have you for 2 yrs max...

  6. Kemp has a decent little scheme. I don't know what the name of it is, but if you're kids aren't assignment oriented, they can expose you a bit. Am I calling for a Kemp win? Not in the least bit, but they will move the ball a little bit. Talent wise, they shouldn't gain 1 yard, but they will catch the Kville defense not being disciplined, just like Buna did on the first few drives this year.

  7. I hope it's raining buckets next Friday Cowboy.  That ball is a lot harder to catch when it's wet lol. Did that big running back y'all have graduate?  That kid was a beast. By the way we practiced against Texas Tech to prepare for the spread, so I suggest a heavy dose of the run game will be y'all's  best option. How about a little old fashioned smash-mouth football, everybody's running the spread these days!!

Will have played 3 games in a row in the rain if it rains next Friday lol
