1. Yep. Vidor took over at the Memorial 45 and turned it into 7 about 6 plays later.
 2. Fumbles helped but Vidor still had to turn those in to points.. I think the onside kick with 8 minutes left was the momentum swing Vidor needed in the 2nd half. Memorial had just closed to within 3 points after getting the ball from vidor on downs scored quickly had all the momentum tried the kick and kicked it out of bounds putting there defense right back out there on a short field.
 3. Vidor was winning 16 to 6 at half... Not sure on the final?
 4. All the vidor backs run hard.. When you hit them you better wrap up..
 5. Trolling this thread hoping Nederlands big brother can avenge the loss from vidor for you'll???
 6. Also the head official is standing just out of the picture behind the QB. His job is to follow the play he had to see this. You can call holding on just about every pass play in football but it's usually not called unless it's as blatant as this.
 7. Might have something today with not having to use the stadium lights? Just a guess but I know it's pretty expensive when they have to turn them on.
 8. Vidor beat them at all 3 levels this year JV won 14 to 0. Freshman won 44 to 6 I believe? Take what you will from sub varsity scores..
 9.
The more I think about Montana in a DB role, the less I can see it happening ...unless SC currently has all D1 receivers.  He got smoked all night long, BUT he played both ways so I'm sure his legs were taxed.
seriously? He played middle linebacker all night on defense. Not one time was he ever lined up in coverage on one of the wideouts. Sounds to me like your trying to down play the kids ability by watching 1 game. How many kids do you know that take every offensive and defensive snap of a 4A football game and still perform at the level he did?
 10.
DCTF needs to do some more research before posting. ;) ::)
all you have to do is read  his magazine to figure that out.
 11.
Jags upset Ned by a late TD with the NED starters out to avoid injuries for the playoffs.
i hope your right buddy but just don't see it happening for the jags. If you remember the central/Vidor game it will be about the same or worse for Mitchell. He will be running for his life again.

We want dinner at Jody Leigh's if we do it for you again...
Lol I won't make it to LCM cuz I'll be at the Butch but I'll be logged in on here.
Who does Ozen play next week? I'm going to the game. My friend's son is on the team so we are going to see his last game. I can't wait to 'see' a game instead of read about the game.
Ozen will host the Lumberton Raiders, glad to have u
you'll beat em, but wont make the playoffs. lol you'll see what i mean next week  ;)
you actually think Lcm will beat us?
 13. Lcm better win this game because if there defense plays like this next week there will be no playoffs for them.
 14.
Barton looks so good running.  He's so fast!!!  What a backfield.  Contreras, Dial and Hopkins, too. Love what the Dogs have.....and will have.    8) Dogs Defense is at another level this year.  Don't know if I have ever seen a more COMPLETE Nederland defense.  Wow!  These guys will be remembered for a long time.
Nederland  has played great defense all year. It seems like so many coaches put all there playmakers  on the offensive side of the ball now that it's rare to see a team play good defense anymore. I for one enjoy watching Nederland  and vidor  still play solid defense.
My nephew had players spitting in his face, on two different occasions players grabbing his privates and twisting during the game. Then during the hand shakes afterwards another player spit in his face. Beyond the point of trashy and horrible sportsmanship. As stated earlier this team does not belong with the rest of 20-4A!
Why don't you quit lying that is what the vidor players were doing, I was at the game and I will at least tell the truth, Vidor is one of the dirtyest teams I have ever seen, the Livingston players got tired of it and started playing dirty too, The refs were terrible, but in your favor, I knew when they called the touchdown back when it was defensive pass interferance that they refs were going to call it for Vidor, not only that but your players were using the N word and over on Livingston sideline giving our coaches the finger and cursing them. Your Fans were trying to attack our players after the game and the police in your town were in the face of our players instead of doing their job of protecting our players on their way off the field. If Livingston had done that to any team I would be ashame. Now that is the truth, I could say a lots more that happen but I will leave it at that, because there is always two sides to a story. I'm not going to justify Livingston and you sure can't justify Vidor, the whole night was a disgrace to High School Football.
i usually just come on here and read all the opinions about the games...but this one i just couldnt stay away from....you have to be kidding me...the play that started all this was actually on the channel 6 sports show last night...you can clearly see #14 taunting our QB after he had just be given the flag...in fact when it happened live we actually thought he was walking over to our coaches to say he was sorry until we realized he was taunting...which he continued to do the entire game...great player and i don't blame him...the coaches should have pulled him after maybe like the 5th time he taunted our players and fans...i think it worked against him because it only fired the players and the fans up....the last Go Pirates Go chant was prolly the loudest i have ever heard and it was all do to his actions...now football is football and being a former player you get all kinds of extra stuff on the field...no doubt...but tonight one guy was too obvious and it hurt his team...
I agree there is no place for taunting, or any thing outside of playing the game. But then again, these are kids, we as adults make mistakes as well but because we have made so many of them, time should bring about wisdom. Let's hope all this that happen do the same for these kids, yet the bottom line is the refs should have flaged him, that would have put a stop to it, I hope on that we can agree.
absolutely agree with you  Trocket if the officials get control of the game right there  i believe  none of the other things afterwards would  have taken place. Instead we ended up with a no holds barred WWE event.
 16.
This was the sportsmanship shown after a TD was decided by refs and Quirante was walking back to our sidelines showing TD.... ]
like i said in another thread. Montana gets a lot of coverage on this site and others that cover local football. It appeared to me that he came into our house saying look at me i am the one going to UT. Showed up in his big boy pants and left in a pull up.
 17.
I think we can all agree that this catastrophe could've been avoided if the officials would have used preventative officiating rather than a poor excuse of reactionary officiating. They became spectators of the game.
absolutely... These guys were clueless.  Btw they were out of the Houston chapter
 18. Where's the rest of the livingston fans? Trocket shows up every week win or lose.
 19. All i know is that when you have 25 to 30 police officers watching the handshake  the refs  definitely let the game get out of hand
 20. A player of his caliber does not need to do that imo. Montana gets talked about alot  on this sight. Sure looked like he was trying to turn this into a look at me game after Montana scored his first touchdown and Collins walked all the way to our sideline beside him holding up the hookem  horns and jawing
There are similarities between QB's, both are their teams main offensive weapons, both start on defense, both are very athletic, etc, etc., but if Collins was going into this game looking at it as a Chevoski vs Montana matchup, then I think he wound up being a little disappointed.
i am not sure if that was the case but it seemed like it. Jmo

 23.
4.3? Better recalibrate that clock!
No kidding... No one on that field ran a 4.3 Friday night. 4.3 speed gets colleges looking at you even if you can't play a lick of football.
