Congrats to the Lady Rebels. A good showing.

You know, it's human nature to be curious about it, but after I've thought about it a few minutes, I don't want to know. All one has to do is watch the news and politics to see how hateful folks are getting. I don't think 99% of us want that on this Forum. Now, my final comment on the game. These two teams went out and did their best. The coaches mess up sometimes. I did coaching LL baseball & football. Coach Matthews probably messed up against BH. He picked up the pieces, and saw the improvements today. Coach Foreman tried something near the end of this game. I expect (hope) him to build on that.

Well Congratulations to the Pirates. And Central, best of luck the rest of the season.

I felt it was going to be close. Didn't see either winning by more that a TD. Although many Pirate fans probably thot they had a good chance, I doubt any thot they'd dominate like this.

And what were the results?

Pirates better not relax. Central and score in a heartbeat.

Guess we can take the term "defensive struggle" out of the equation.

From what I've gathered watching post on these two for several years, Central has trouble with Vidor's Slot T. To bad for Vidor, most others don't.

The NFL Commish is the one that screwed the pooch. He should have stopped this immediately, to prevent the spread. One of his main jobs is to keep the NFL from being disparaged. He stopped Dallas from wearing a sticker to back the Police. As I predicted, Kapertwit now has followers. [Hidden Content] And, probably the whole Seahawk Team. [Hidden Content] I wouldn't go watch any of these Teams play in Beaumont if I had free tickets. They all can kiss my Red, White, and Blue behind.

Were you as surprised as I was at the number of players on the Deweyville team? And I was told that W. Hardin doesn't have a JV (and we didn't 3 or 4 years ago). You'd think the D1 schools would all have one. And unless Iola has one, I don't think anyone else in our Dist does. And we must have had 25+ kids suited up. This feast or famine in 2A ball is hard for me to get use to.

Hate you're missing the fishing, but at least you'll be fresh for the game. Will be hanging on the update thread Saturday evening. Nice to know both of y'all will be posting. From the post on this thread, looks like the Vidor fans are keeping a low profile. Best guess, that B. Hill game still has them punch drunk. Btw, Bostwick said (Wed I think) to expect a few pretty good storms Sat afternoon. Hopefully there won't be any lighting delays..

I agree Red Dawn. It's been a good thread. And I bet I'm not the only one who'll be frequently checking the updates tonight. If BH can keep it close, at least the Cougar starters will get a lot of playing time. Not something they'll get in to many of your district games. Potentially, all the best of HS football in this one.

Congrats to the Crosby fans for not taking the bait on my post on Vidor. You guys have gotten past that. Unfortunately, it's all Vidor has, unless they can squeeze into the playoffs this year. Hope the BH/Crosby matchup is a good game. Good luck to both, and no injuries.
