No way PAM beats Central as bad as Vidor. First, Vidor almost always plays their best against Central and Nederland. Second, that Central Team will take out their frustrations on PAM, who they'd play at a 110% anyway. I think this game will be won by 7 points. Loser makes the most turnovers.

Lol, and heaven knows the Raiders have never played on a grass field. But congrats on the new turf. If I hit that $250 million lottery, I'll but one for Evadale and Vidor.

I assure you, it wasn't intended as bait, just speculation. I'm not a WOS fan, but I will be once the playoffs start. As I will be for Crosby once (if lol) they get by 22-5A. My main concern is Evadale beating Iola. They are our WOS/Crosby/etc. Fortunately for Evadale, they don't have any posters on this Forum.

Yes, it seems to be crazy in both of our 5A districts. And speaking of pickums, I'll have to give Coldspring-Oakhurst a break and pick them to lose.

Yes they are the class of SETX. And currently, Crosby is the best of the 5A schools on this Forum. Wasn't trying to knock anyone, it would be a durn good game, whoever won. Unfortunately, I don't see much serious football discussion going on about WOS until the playoffs, and then, not about them getting beat. The current team they have may be the best in the schools history. And that says volumes. Anyone in this area who can beat Nederland 42-0, regardless of personnel, is one heckuva football team.

Crosby's a given to be tough. Now, 21-5A has Splendora, who'll probably be second (it was Dayton, but they're now 3rd or fourth). I figure PAM wins their game. And probably PNG. Worst 22-5A should do is a split.

I agree. My take on that offense, if you're able to run the ball, it's because the D is still guarding the receivers, and if the D is stopping the run, the receivers are probably open. Which I suspect is how several of the Dist opponents do stop it.

This hypothetical game gets mentioned from time to time. Not sure about past years, and don't have a clue about the future. But this year, I think WOS might beat Crosby. I'm no expert, as you can tell by the pickums, just my opinion. Curious what y'all think.

What's fascinating, or funny, about the end of this thread, is the people writing off Central, just as many wrote off Vidor after the BH debacle. Any team that wants to take Central lightly because of this game will find Jaguar claws all over their behinds. I don't think anyone else in the 22-5A runs the Slot T. Oh, and they only lost by 12 points to 6A WB, who is undefeated. I doubt few, if any, teams in 22-5A could stay within 12 points of the Bruins. Just as many were anxious to write off Ned last year after two games. Make no mistake, you take the Jags and the Pirates lightly at your on peril.

[Hidden Content] I can understand being unhappy with a lot of situations. When I worked for a big company, I got upset with it from time to time. But if those near the top had protested, knowing the excellent salaries and perks they had, I would have had little sympathy for them. So it is with this bunch of over pampered loons.
