This game comes down to which team has the better supporting cast outside of Scales/Wrinkle & Sells/Donald. The bright lights are on! It's time to play!

Orangefield 's defense seems to slow Kountze down as seen in 2 previous games. If Kountze keeps Sells out of foul trouble and make those free throws they should get the win.

Brookeland is looking very strong. they have 7 losses to 18 wins but none of the 7 were to teams in their class 1A. All have been to bigger schools. Keep it up Wildcats! 6-0in district.

Coach Brandon Shumake is leaving his alma mater Jasper High School and Lady Dawgs basketball after 6 successful years.

He has accepted the head boy's basketball job at Brookeland. Jasper's loss and the Wildcat's gain. Good luck Coach Shu, you will be missed.

It is pretty obvious that this section of SETX sports will not get coverage.  Had a rep covering. The Big Sandy tournament and only for the boys. Someone needs to realize that girls actually play too. 10 games and still no schedules.

Wondering why the girls basketball is not receiving as much coverage this year? Schedules and scores are not up to date.
