All I know is that Memorial has at least 6 and upwards to 11,12 kids every year that get football scholarships. Some dont get noticed until the 11th or 12th grade because middle schools really dont develop kids properly: some do and some dont. Everyone on this thread is a little biased when it comes to their city and their ole FOOTBALL teams. LOL The south has talent in football. We all know this. I know that most kids on this list started playing football way b4 middle school. A kid not mentioned could easily be the only one to make it far. Who knows.

That would be a good idea. Doesnt make sense for area middle schools to not play each other at some point. I know the kids would love it.

Yessir, thats a lost art in youth football. Subpar coaches lack the knowledge to understand that blocking makes the team. Others get the credit, but we know where the game is won. I see it with TJ more so than Lincoln, because TJ passes the ball. Kids cant pass block at all.

I've seen almost every kid in the SETX area in 8th grade..... There is some unbelievable talent. I will name the kids that come to my mind.
Best overall player has got to be Rashawn Johnson from Port Neches-QB
Ladia- PA QB
Butler PA RB
K. Adams Kountze RB
Beal Kountze WR/DE
Voigtmen Kountze QB/LB
M. Williams Lumberton TE/DT
M. Jones Kountze C/DT
D. Walker South Park RB
J. Conway Lumberton RB
C. Mojica South Park C/DT
L. Hiltz Nederland RB/CB
Fernendez Nederland MLB
Sells Silsbee RB/LB
McCain Silsbee ATHLETE
McGrue Vincent RB/CB
Butler Lumberton RT 6'4 280
Smith Anahuac RG 6'2 325
Bridges Lumberton QB
Leblanc Lumberton RB
Elia Vincent ATHLETEI know of Johnson. Remember him from the Lil Titans. He was dynamic. Haven't seen him in a while. In you're opinion, who is the best passing QB? Dual threat? In high school, they separate QBs like that.

Its time to develop the young arms in Port Arthur. Toooo much talent to not have a division 1 QB one day!!!

how does the QB for Lincoln look and the RB at TJ? (8th grade)
Kid for TJ looks around 6'2 and has one of the best arms I've ever seen at that age. I've been told he has around 7 TD passes. The kid for Lincoln is a good running back. A lil cocky. lol, but so much talent. bout 6 tds, I think.
I've seen em both twice.

#10 Thomas Jefferson QB - Varsity arm and size right now
#26 Lincoln RB - Tremendous talent
#55 Thomas Jefferson LB - One of the best in the area
I can really only speak on PA!!!
-
Throw some names out there. I've seen some Port Arthur, Beaumont, and Port Neches teams. All positions.

How is Kaden H doing?

Last play of the game. Lol Everybody kept asking why isnt he passing. Thats their bread n butter. But the running was nice in that second half. They broke down the D. 2 scores in the last 3 minutes. Good 2nd half.
-
45 yard game winning TD pass from TJ #10. Wow They ran the ball the entire second half and let him finish the job with seconds left on the clock. 45 yarder on the money.
-
Wow, I saw the Lincoln kid in Beaumont this past tuesday, and saw a video of the TJ qb. We need some updates on the PA/Bmt middle schools. I see some seriousl talent.
-
Also the running back for Lincoln. Heard he's a beast.

Been hearing some good things about this quarterback from Thomas Jefferson. From more than a few people. I hear he has a real qb arm. Hope it gets developed.
Best middle school players in the area. Give me some names.
