Maybe Neumann should quit worrying so much about the score and focus more on the stats so we quit getting whipped like a mule on the stat sheet.

Lol.. I definitely don't want to get in the BF, MB war.. I'm kinda like 75, I'll give it straight when the season is over.. Back to the game.... If PNG stays balanced, I think it will be a game. If we don't show the ability to run and have to air it out 40 times we could be in for a long night. The last time Dayton beat us the field goal kicker was unreal... Made a few from over 50. So I'm not sure how that will factor in as well. Defensively we will need to play good assignment football for 4 full quarters. To me, the weather means absolutely nothing.. Rain, sleet, snow, or hail, it's game on when the anthem is over....Period..... BF might have to pull out a few tricks to keep momentum, but I'm fine with that.. Now, I'm not saying onside kick it with 8 minutes left in the 3rd, I'm saying gadget plays, to keep us moving if we stall. If so, it could be interesting. I wouldn't count PN-G out just yet...

I couldn't have said it better myself. It appears you have a pretty good football IQ.... Not the rah-rah type. I hope we pull out the W, this is a young team, that will improve in the future.... I know all these kids and am proud of all of them... I say we go out in all white, jerseys, helmets, pants, and lay it all on the field. And I agree BF is a good coach.......

I don't have much confidence in PNG coaching right now.  I have a TON of confidence in Adam Morse.  That kid plays his heart out each and every week and has the "IT" factor.  Sparks is a fantastic receiver but the others need to step up as well.  Need a balanced attack to win this one.  I have no idea about Dayton except the last time I saw them play they were good.  No prediction but I have a bad feeling.  Weather could play a big factor as well.  GO INDIANS

Ive stated many of times that I think he is a good coach..Do I think Matt is a good guy.... Hell yeah I do... Was I upset he was ran off. No I wasnt... Am I a Indians Fan?? Yes I am... My roots run deep in this town and with football.. For 1 Im not some punk that gets on here and runs his mouth.. I post factual, logical, information... Did I play football at PN-G.. Yep I did,, did we win when I played, sure did, did we lose to Nederland in my 4 years, no we didnt. So to prepaball fan... Read every post I have made this year, all 100 or so and find a negative comment I have made about the team!!!! Then find a negative comment I have made about your beloved coach!!!!! Find one and post it up for me... I have never said anything negative about either.. After I state what I think about BF i usually back it up with I think he is a good coach....
 
So for prepballfan.. I put numbers out.. And numbers usually do not lie... This is a public forum, I can state what i think in a educated manner.. If your happy with making the playoffs with 4 teams getting in.. Thats great, if your happy with 1-5 against Nederland, thats great. If im not, thats great as well.. So as a advanced member, SETX staff member, like you are, make sure before you post that I make negative comments, you read them first... If I say the defense is suspect, thats just my opnion, if I say BF cant make adjustments, thats my opinion.. If I said they sucked it would be a totally different thing... I posted some numbers, thats fact not fiction.  BF has been handed the ranch... Money, facilities, authority, more coaches, multi uniforms, helmets, etc.. If I think Im getting my tax moneys worth, then great, if not then great... I predicted 7-4 months ago............. Your happy with that, cool, if im not, cool.... BTW... BF is a good coach........ If I wanted to be on a RAH-RAH site I would try the other one, but I like to shoot it straight.....

I couldnt agree more.. Thats why if you read my earlier post it details, curls, slants, screens, etc.. If i was a DC today against PNG, I would jump in a 50, man up bump and run, and bring havoc, and wait and see if PNG adjusts... I like W's.. I dont care if its a 3-0 game or 54-53 game.. 75 ill give my age away as well.  My senior year we ran the ball dang well.. Went into the Nederland game, and they loaded the box up and dared us to run, my cousin was a heck of a d end for Nederland that year.. (only All District pick they had). Guess what we did, threw the ball the whole game after the first series... And guess what, low and behold we set a record... 7 TD's thrown by Musser in that game... Thats how you make and break records.. Its spur of the momet, make an adjustment and bam...  If your QB is struggling, thats fine, run the ball.  We have a million formations, load in in a 3 TE set and pound it to open up the pass.... Also to the MB post earlier.. Say what you want to say.... The man cared about the kids and took us to the big dance..... Long only threw for 3000 yards in 99 becasue we has a balanced attack... Ill take that anyday of the week over 7-4 and a few new records... Im not bad mouthing BF becasue i think hes a good coach, just giving my opinion.. Right now I think we are very predictable...

if making the playoffs as a 2nd or 3rd place team every year makes you happy then with the talent PNG has and BF coaching that should happen most years.
 
the PNG fans i use to know were never happy with mediocrity they always wanted to be the best.
 
PNG you keep doing your thing and NED will keep doing their thing of winning district championships 

faircloth has lost to nederland 5 out of the 6 years(5 in a row a new record). not being a sunshine pumper, that's fact. 
 
BF is a good coach but not great. with the talent he has at PNG he should have had better results.

+1...He played for PNG and really cares for the team. (You can tell by some of the lenghty posts) He speaks his mind and doesn't sugar coat anything...he has always said that BF is a good coach. We all have our own opinions and what makes this site so enjoyable to read. At least he's not another obnoxious footballer06!!!!!!

No doubt in my mind he's a PNG fan, and I've seen pros and cons about both coaches...... Not everyone's a sunshine pumper, some call it like they see it....
