Well.. Its hard for me to come up with funny little names for the Caboose riders........ I figure having Chumperton in your screen name is funny enough.... But we all know its getting closer...... Coach knows, says his guys are ready..... Just a matter of hours before the game is played............Will it be a Chumperton win, or the usual, well the kids played hard, we are turning our program around, Coach knows....... No excuses after tomorrow night...... CANT WAIT............ NDNS will be playing with a CHIP on the shoulders Friday night.....

I'm pretty sure the only thing that's going to shut myself, or 99 up is a Chumperton victory.... And we all know the odds of that are slim to none... Let's not get into any name calling..... But it's comparing apples to oranges here... I know the caboose riders are happy about the HF win and a playoff appearance last year.. I assume that's the 3rd in Chumperton history... But it is what it is.... I'm glad the teams fired up because after I talked with a few on ours, they are super jacked to know Chumperton wants some on the field..... And I warned them, Coach knows, and he's taught all these kids to be fast.... I even reiterated the talent level and team speed of Chumperton according to the Internet warriors.... But the nice guy I am, if Chumperton doesn't beat us, I'll make sure to troll every Chumperton thread and give my assessment.... And that's the truth, truth....... And I'm not always half glass empty.... I'll give credit where credit is due.... To all the Chumperton posters.... It takes courage to get on here and defend your town and team to a bully like myself, knowing at the end of the day, I'm more than likely going to end up on the good end of the stick..... It makes you people a better person than myself.... But in the end just remember. STATTRAX knows, or Stattrash.... Whatever you prefer... O.K. SO here it is, on the REAL...... Lumberton is exactly that...... Lumberton. I understand every blind squirrel finds a nut, eventually..... But, I have never, and I repeat, never seen a Lumberton team that dazzled me with greatness... Even the once in a lifetime team had a district loss... Yep, that would be PNG....... Neither team has been tested... I somewhat agree.... Year in year out the Train riders get on here and talk about football this or that.... Usually a bunch of blah, blah, blah.... I will give this game prediction..... Its a win win for me.... If Chumperton wins, BF will have to get to packing........ But, we all know, Chumperton never wins this game............ And if Chumperton does win, I WILL NOT MAKE A NEGATIVE POST ABOUT THEM FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR............................. Everyone knows this................ Was not looking for a history lesson. I am well aware of the colors and when they where used. I was also being facetious...... I am more than aware the kids like the look.. I like to beat Nederland.... You missed the point of my smartarse post... But hey, your the professional..............

Question is this... Does 13 sets of Helmets, 28 Helmet emblems,16 different Jerseys, and 5 different pants, qualify you to beat Nederland? I know the atmosphere where I sit is never fun during that game!!!!! Im a homer I guess.. Grew up with Always be faithful, to purple and white... I did not get the memo when Mrs. James changed it to Purple, Grey, and white...... But I do know my head POPS during MCM for the last 6 years!!!!

I am sure each situation is different. But I will say LN has made different choices on different kids throughout the years.. He has been known to kick some STUDS off the team for violations, and he has also been known to let some return. In the big scheme of things, I hope it all works out for the kids and they succeed at whatever they decide to do in life. Trust me when I say, there is more to life than football after high school. I sure did not think that way 20 years ago, but I sure know the real world is waiting and you have to be ready for it!!!

Well, we have not ran a zone read with him yet. I will say this, he is a sophomore, and he will have growing pains. Once he sees a few different defenses he will adjust to whatever he is given. I think for a sophomore, he had a good performance week 1. I do think the test will get harder once he is game planned for. PAM will neutralize his speed, Nederland will make him one dimensional, and Central will try to do both. But its all part of the process. As long as he stays healthy, I think the experience will turn him into a stud as a junior and senior. The rah rahs see games from week to week. I know as a sophomore, he will have moments of greatness, and moments of struggle.. But we also all know, you have to be a special talent to start as a sophomore and be effective. I look for great things out of RJ through the next few years. But remember, its a process...........

I am just setting it up for that big rant week 10... Kill em with kindness.......... But if need be, bring in the U hauls........

Throw underclass games away.. PN-G is the only school in the district that wants to win those games year in year out... I will not discount anyone in the district. It appears once again we are all evenly matched, PAM far superior on the athletes... Should be interesting.
