I understand these young announcers for 99.5 are doing the play x play as a service.  However, they seriously are about to work my last nerve with their idiotic and juvenile color and total lack of understanding of the game.  From what I can make out, injuries have just about decimated the Hill's offense.  We're out a starting QB, RB, and on D, a captain as well.  Simply cannot move the ball!!  Hopefully someone actually at the game will be able to shed light since these 2 bozos on the radio sound as though they're sitting in the living room playing Madden!!  smdh!!!!!

IMO BH look like they got tired. Crosby seemed to be better condition. Watch out 21-5a BH is good. Nothing but respect for ya. Wow what a game

D on the field too much. Offense struggled second half. BH can't get over the hump. Get PNG first round again this year, I'm calling it now.

Both teams need to cut down on penalties and turnovers. Sloppy game, both defenses actually played decent although score doesn't show it.

Xavier Martin was killing us.We blitzed him twice and he burned us for 40-50 yards each time. Towards the end of the half though we started containing him better. All 3 TDs was all Martin!

Humble gets great field position and scores. Xtra point no good. Humble up 12-6. BH not looking too good.

I think BH will make it respectable this year, but we have not faced the athletes that Crosby has yet.  The one thing I'm looking most forward to this year is that no matter how far behind we can quickly score to get the game back to competitive. Last year if we were down by 14 the game was over! This will be a much better game, but Crosby at home I'll give them a 14 point edge. (If we had the same offense as last year Crosby by 28).

Being a close neighbor and rival to BH I LOVE when the Cougars beat The Hill. I may even talk some trash about it. With that being said my experience is that the people in BH are good people, just like those in Crosby and Dayton. I think BH unfairly catches grief bc they have very few minorities and their schools have an abundance of money due to the industry in Mt Belvieu. No district in the state would turn down the revenue, but it makes them any easy target for others whose districts struggle with funding. 
I think the supts tweets were not a good idea, but since he apologized I think ppl should look at his whole body of work and not a few minutes of poor words on social media. 
As someone who loves their community I know it hurts when something like this overshadows all the good in a community. I hope this mess passes soon and The Ant Hill can celebrate all of their great points instead of hearing about this. 
And I hope we beat the snot out of BH on 9/9.

This guy says the field was unsafe to march on but lets his 16 year old kid out on the street at 3 a.m. 

I know I'm embarrassed!  Faculty, Admin, and especially the Sup, are held to a higher standard...they should always take the high road!!

I find it ironic that the Drum Major has more class than the Superintendent.  I often think very few young folks have manners or class.  How refreshing!   And the Superintendent?   Well, if I were from Barbers Hill, I'd be embarrassed, as I'm sure most are.  Hopefully, the good people there will replace the classless t-rd.

The field was in horrible condition, but he shouldn't have put Vidor on blast IMO. He has to understand that everyone doesn't have industry and means to have newer facilities. Always be humble and appreciative of what you have, because it can be taken away.

Awesome Eagles!!  Way to come out and start the new season with the NEW UNIFORMS...ahem, I meant our new Coaches, new game plan, and new outlook!!  Let's keep the intensity and improve each week as our district looks to be loaded!!!!

Ah shoot, my bad BH96.  I just thought since we had such bad juju about our old uni's that THAT must have been the problem...lol
 

Dude really the uniforms!!  Everybody knows it is because of the new indoor practice facility not the uniforms. 

Sounds like our new, expensive uniforms are the difference maker so far....LOL
