It's never ending around here with these two teams, just part of the rivalry to see who has what coming up. I think most of us pull for each other when we're not playing against one another. We were having dinner on the Riverwalk and I accidentally cursed out loud when Angleton scored in OT and won it. My wife then proceeded to scold me in front of other patrons for checking my phone every 3 mins and blurting out random swear words, but when I told her Dayton just lost by 1 point in OT she even said one too. Just the way it is between the two teams.

Appreciate the support though and see y'all in Crosby next year. The '15 version of the Cougars should be a sight to see.

Not saying you are right, not saying u are wrong, but you do realize everyone said the same thing you just said about dayton, but about crosby and Crosby proved them wrong, Dayton has entire starting o-line coming back, great defensive players coming back and a load of talent off the jv, freshman teams and a beast of a running back that will be a freshman next year,

Well double ought 6 ...you and I have bantered back a forth a few times. It was fun , interesting and entertaining.But that was between you and I. Never about the kids on either side. They way I see it , if not one of us from 22-5A then 21-5A is just as good. Its southeast Texas no matter how you look at it and they will represent all of us well. Go Cougars take it to Dallas.

Thanks for helping make my point 06. You ask a question, we give you an answer and you call us asinine and haters and cowards. Which are all signs of disrespect. Yet I implore you to go back and find a single post on this site this year where I have written anything negative about Crosby. You wont find it because at the end of the day its just kids who work their tails off playing a game they love win or lose. And unlike you I have the utmost respect for those kids who gut it out for our entertainment whether they be 0-10 or 12-1 and still playing and no matter what color helmet they wear. Do you also go to spelling bees and yell at the kids from outside of Crosby that misspelled humility to go "start putting in extra batteries in your calculators for math comps cause you stink at spelling"?

I like reading footballer06 myself. It is funny as hell. Crosby is playing great football. Haters are gonna hate and they won't change their mind. But you asked why that is happening and I attempted to answer the best way I know. Not hating or bashing and damn sure not taking away from crosby football. I wish I was off work to watch em play. I will be keeping up with it just like I did the last 3 games.

Kind of mind blowing that Nederland played a tight one with Crosby, and Seay didn't play for a large portion of the second half. I think the football in 215A is just outstanding right now and Crosby is peaking. My point being that SETX 5A football isn't dead just yet. But 215A will be a tough road for the foreseeable future. Thanks bro. It's a sprained MCL the trainer thinks so we'll see. He's limping pretty bad but the good thing is is we TIVOed the Rockets game and we're laid up on the couch and he's on my lap whining in pain and getting catered. Gotta love that father and son time. He also has a cowbell to ring when he needs something. IF he ever reads this he's gonna kill me to. BTW we're gonna need all the support we can get from SETX so I'm willing to call off the dogs and get along with everybody. Plus it's a lot of work and energy to be mean and if you really know me I'm much better being nice. So I'm opening up this weeks Safari trip to everyone even you for at least one week injunforever, oh LOL!!

To the Brenham guys I apologize for the rift I just get a little passionate about our team and all the negative and unwarranted criticism they endure from past failures (Not by y'all). Periballo how proud you must be and according to the boys your son was a true and respectful competitor as well as the rest of the Lion Cubs. My son is #6 and had nothing but compliments and respect for Brenham and humbled me a little that there is a fine line between passion and being a fanatic.
