Da Ernie Starnes days King was a powerhouse.Lyndell Wilson that came from Lamar Cons(after the Rogers twins left) helped King lose lots of games

It is true we fell on hard times, mostly due to mediocre coaching and kids transferring to GP North Shore which allowed them to make deep runs in the playoffs for about a decade that included a state title.  However, during the early and mid 90's ask WOS about the 3 bi-district playoff losses to us in a row.  

Blue don't worry just believe!  Both teams are here because this year they are the cream of the crop.  However, having home field advantage will definitely have an impact.  I pick King in a nail biter!  This may come down to whomever has the ball last!

Deadly viruses have been around forever. Just because an Ebola outbreak just now came to America doesn't change that fact. You think this is the first time someone has made a joke about it? Geez. We're out here from God knows where Southeast Texas living under our rocks and I've heard jokes made about diseases. That post was actually very funny, and boy was it on point. The only thing is that with the 06 disease, I'm not sure it will be vomit coming from the mouth, more likely diarrhea. And before you even think about trying to correct someone's grammar, why don't you take a look back at some of your posts. Heck, even in the one I'm quoting, you used slapstick as an adverb. It's either an adjective (used to describe comedy) or a noun (as a form of comedy itself). You also couldn't spell "felt" correctly. I'm not even going to attempt to find all of the other errors in all of your other posts, or I'd be here all night. Breaking news... Government officials have stated that another breakout of the deadly virus known as 06, has been diagnosed in a small town in Texas.. Officials state that if you come in contact with a contagious person with the virus, immediately hold your hands over your ears to block out the vomit that will be spewing from the victims mouth... Doctors sate that the individual will be disorientated, and usually speaks In circles. The individual will also act as a child, 10 year old or under, being irrational, judge mental, and very hard to understand.. The first few weeks are the worst, if the patient makes it to week 9 of the virus, he or she will start losing brain cells and will not be able to determine rhyme from reason..government officials state that is very important to let the 06 patient babble and do not respond with any useful info because after the brain cells are lost, he or she will not be able to process simple information.. In the event that you do decide to try and speak rational to the victim, please try and use fact and figures to help this persons few brain cells process the info as quickly as possible... It was a great game plan by Kingwood Park.  They basically ran a goal line offense the whole game with 36 QB draws .  Also, I have read that they used the same plan against Crosby the second half of their game and it gave Crosby fits too.  We missed too many opportunities.  Too many dropped balls and penalties.  However, it is a learning experience.  I'm sure Coach Price will have them ready for next week.

Glad to see the entire roster get a little playing time and to see some what looked liked younger kids get to dress out and be a part of the Friday night lights. That only fuels the fire in the underclassmen (some of which you loss to lack of interest and motivation as they grow older) to work hard to get to be a part of something special and it's not everyday that 9-0 happens at any football level. That being said, Crosby had a few injuries so I pray for some speedy recoveries and good news from the Dr's office this week as these young men prepare to do battle with King for 21-5A supremacy. It's your turn to take care of business tonight King so an undefeated matchup stays intact so Good luck and Nov 7th is just about upon us.....

King does not believe they can just roll their helmets on the field and walk away with a win.  That being said, they need to be focused and play at their highest level to persevere.  We expect nothing less than Crosby's best that I am sure they will bring.
