Buna wins.

Hey what happen to the Broncos fan base. To build a stadium as such, where are the fans?
Good question. I went to a playoff game between Ned and Dayton a few years ago at Lamar. Ned almost filled up their side with fans while Dayton had less than 1000 fans. I was very surprised, especially for a playoff game.

NIce job of staying classy.......wow!
To come on here and single out players after a game is weak, period. Enjoy your win, keep your remarks about individual players to yourself. If you want to talk smack to a particular poster then have at it, but leave the players out. No where in the thread was any player on HJ or Huffman talking trash, it was parents and other fans of each program. Let your comments/trash talk be aimed at them and not at the players, both sides played their best, one side won and the other lost. Leave it at that.

Edelmon started it- Titan finished it. I wouldn't consider Titan calling out players- his comments were aimed at Bedlmon. He only used game stats to prove his point. But I guess it's ok to talk about Huffman's weak district.

I wonder if he understood that he was taking a risk by running?
Probably thought he was taking a risk by not running. Poster keeps saying, "don't run, comply". Most career criminals run and they don't comply until police make them comply.

Why did she leave?
Not enough talent maybe???

15-0 Orangefield in 3 innings.
Maybe Coach Decuir wasnt so bad after all... ;)

Now this is what I hate about small schools. And the reason it would be a nightmare to coach at a small school. Some parent or group of parents think their kids are the next phenoms because they dominate some little dribbler competition...or whatever they do. Now whoever gets to coach that group will never live up the expectations of the community. So they'll be shunned...or replaced. When in reality..
Lets say you make a 5 year prediction. Do know how much happens in that short amount of time? They may stop improving...other teams may improve at a faster rate...other teams may get moveins...they may lose kids..plus the most important..
When they get to high school, they are not competing against kids their own grade level. When there is a good group of 5th graders...it's easy to make other 5th graders look bad. But in high school...they're playing against 4 different grades of kids.
This post is absolutely stupid.
Have to agree with this post. Almost impossible to determine how kids will do in high school no matter how good they are in youth sports. Too many variables involved as mentioned in the above post. It doesn't matter who the parents are or what the bloodline, too many things are subject to change.
Have to give 5 gal credit with such a bold prediction- he's got a conversation started.

Younger Jacks does not attend Lumberton anymore.
Wow...what school does she play for?
-
What does the talent pool look like for next year? Went to a game this year and didnt see the freshman or jack's daughter suited up. Just wondering...
-
I missed this one.
Dove: what happened?
C'mon Dove, we're still waiting...your analysis is usually pretty good...

Giddings won 46-41
Ok Thanks. I was hoping this district (24-4A) would do better in the playoffs.
-
After 3, Giddings leads Bridge City, 35-30
Who won this game?
-
Where's old school at who has no idea what's happening or be at the game where the kids who knew stuff before they got to him and carried him.
Not sure what you mean. Are you saying last year's team made the coach look good and this year's group is not as bball savvy and/ or talented? Thus, his coaching ability is not what it seemed?
By the way, who won?
-
WOW! 18 points. What has happened to HJ girls basketball?
-
Lady Cardinal question- I know I' m way behind the times but what happened to the girl from Ozen, I think her name is Booker, who committed to Lamar. Did she graduate, injured, or leave?
-
Nothing like trying to force feed an offense. Apprently a simple ball screen is dead.
What exactly is "force feeding an offense"? I'm just curious- never heard that expression before. Maybe trying to run an offense without screening?

I believe the final score between Dayton and Hamshire Fannett was 53-41, Dayton with the win.
Hey Bleachersitter or anyone else in the know, how did HF do against Buna?
-
I thought I heard the Legacy girl is committed to Baylor. Is anyone else committed to a Major D1 school?.. No?...
Well then according to the NCAA she is better than anyone else in the area.I like your logic... :)
Dayton at Hamshire-Fannett/Post updates here!

I think it was less than 10 point margin. Dayton jumped out to a big lead. HF couldn't get over the hump. Dayton has a good Point Guard and a very good Post Player.
