Humblepower got a reaction from Mr. Buddy Garrity in Fort Bend Ridge Point 24 Sheldon C.E. King 3/Final
Second half king playing five defense on the line. Slowing down ridge point. -

Before the injury, he was putting up sick numbers against legit defenses. The numbers don't lie. -

I should get outside the small school threads more often. This is good stuff! Half the time I can't decipher what some are trying to say, but that makes it all the better!

Borderline 6a or not, there's no reason why this game should've been a 1 point difference considering our lead going into halftime. Idk what the heck gets in their head at the half but they better start flushing that out before taking the field again. -

He should have known better than to post something that would cause some people to cry but it is making the proverbial mountain out of a molehill.

Is that a vacuum pump I hear running or is it the sound of Vidor sucking again? I can't believe you ever let the words "scared to play Vidor" come out of your mouth, SMH. Well, look at it this way. While you're sitting at home in your usual spot when the playoffs start you'll at least be able to crack open a Natural Ice Lite and reflect over the time you beat Crosby in 2011. Your flotilla of pirate ships sunk before they even left the harbor this year . . . like they usually do.
Good win Ozen and good luck the rest of the way. -

As long as PNG doesn't get Dayton the first round. Or you go D1 and get CEK. Oh well at least you get to play 11 games until like the blue chicken parading around like an Eagle. -

Honestly I was at the game and I would not call your sons actions thuggish or anything close to that.
Did he get mad? Yes
Did he react with a hot head? Yes
Thug? No.
If you called every kid that done what he did a thug then most all players would be thugs. Football is a tough physical sport and sometimes we let the feelings get the best of us. But that doesn't make someone a thug. -

Humblepower got a reaction from Mr. Buddy Garrity in Humble Summer Creek @ Beaumont Central; Predictions
I am picking Central. If last week was any indication, The SC O line will not hold long enough for the SC pass game to work. The SC pocket collasped pretty quickly, and the offense is still going for the long pass. If that has been fixed, then maybe SC will be a force on Saturday. Chapman is a great RB, but the line hasn't been opening enough holes for him.
The SC defense is ok against the run, but very weak and slow against the pass. (Especially the medium to long pass) the SC defense is more consistent across the board, but in a mediocre way. Instead of one Dakota Allen, the SC defense is a lot of average players.
It is definitely a rebuild year for SC. Maybe this will tune up the team, and make them gel for next year. -

HUM398, I agree with that assessment. I wouldn't use the word "Uninspiring" but the OL certainly is nothing to brag about talent wise. I'm guessing you saw the game against Pasadena Memorial, so you probably noticed that they were surprisingly small and slow. However, I would say the SC OL executed their assignments very well in that game, I don't think they would have been that successful on athletic prowess alone. Fast forward one week, Dickinson is larger and a bit faster, however I don't believe it was so much so that SC's OL was outmatched. So while I do acknowledge that Dickinson's front 7 is harder to deal with than memorial, they should have had much more success had they not made so many mistakes compared to last week. I mean it wasn't like Chatman was getting hit in the backfield on every play or anything, he had a handful of successful runs. However the very next play we have a false start and the drive stalls. With this more run heavy offense this year they are going to have to fix that or else they won't win another game. -

Waitwaitwait forgot one thing. Special teams. Night and day difference from last week, simply unacceptable. Castellanos was bombing them away, punts and kickoffs, last week. Reverted to last year quality this week, and coverage team did not make matters any better with missed tackles. Alright I'm done. -

I thought the O-Line did... Ok in pass protection. I have to give props to Dickinson's secondary, they played very tight (I don't even think Sharp would have had too much success, much less Bean). The biggest gripe I have was the numerous false starts that just killed any momentum we built on several drives. As for the defense, we have a glaring problem with pass defense. I mean GLARING. Our DB's have little to no trouble pursuing a ball carrier coming out of the backfield and make the open field tackle but as soon as they see that ball go through the air its like they forget how to pursue. Pass rushers aren't helping them out either though. Setting those things aside, had they played this game more like last week (as in, actually executed), they probably would have won by a score or two. That pretty much does it for my rant. -

Say the team who has to get a weeks help from the Florida high school football oversite committee to "win" a game. -
