Woodville needed a game like this. They needed to face some sort of adversity before district. I think they bounce with a blowout in the Tyler County Bowl and then there's another Game of the Week in two weeks at Eagle Stadium vs Kirbyville. 

Good win Cats. Saw lots of improvements except for the ball handling. We have GOT to get that under control. All in all it was our game from start to finish. Looking forward to homecoming next week. 

Liberty is a solid, undefeated, 4A football team, and Woodville was in it all the way to the end it looks like. Absolutely NOTHING for Woodville to hang their heads about. Congrats to both teams. And Woodville.......we're still not looking past you. Not.. At.. All.. It's on in 2 weeks.

Woodville has always had more size but more speed?  we will see,  jury is still out.
Dont put to much into the Orangefield comparison.  No, on second thought your right,  Kville is slow and small.  Everyone said same thing the past two years about EC and by the time week 10 got here,  well you know.

Everybody thought it would be between us and Coldspring for the title...and of course anything can happen so that may still be true...but right now let's be real, Woodville is looking like the team to beat. I'm gonna be honest...I'm gonna keep watch on this game mostly as a measuring stick for how well Woodville stacks up against a common opponent of Kirbyville. Lol.. I know it won't mean anything by the time we play each other but it'll still show some kinds of comparisons. I think Woodville will take this one though. They have speed and that's how we beat Orangefield.

I don't know anything about this team except that they beat another team I know nothing about (Frankston) something like 64-21 or so last night. That's an impressive offensive number, but defensively it looks like they have holes. No matter what, we'll be ready.

I understand. I'm glad he's gonna be ok. I was looking away when he took the hit that sent him out last night, but a buddy I was sitting with said it looked like they picked him up and slammed him. I don't know if it was malicious or intentional or whatever or not, but I do know opponents are gonna try everything they can to take him out as a factor in the game cause they know head to head they can't beat him.

Kirbyville looked good tonight as well! I was in attendance for 3 quarters. Way too much team speed for Orangefield. Hopefully Woodville can match up well with yall, due to the amount of speed we have as well. I'll be there!!

Yea see I've always had an issue with this "X number of TD's were called back.." thing that people like to point out. I know what you mean, and I get it, but you have to look at 2 very crucial things first...1.Did they end up scoring on those drives anyway? (because obviously if they did, then they didnt really lose any 'extra' TD's) and 2.There's most likely a very good reason it was called back, and that infraction was why they scored the TD to begin with.
