Our district has produced 3 of the top 10 teams in the state (according to rankings). With that being said, I feel we had a tougher district, and if we show up and play like I know we can, I've got the KIRBYVILLE WILDcats with the W by 2+ scores.

I disagree. I'm thinking it'll be more along the lines of 37-7. :-P

He usually stalks the Vidor threads imparting his "knowledge" over there.  They just dismiss him..  Evidently he has nothing to do so he's going to come over to Kirbyville. Don't let him get to ya

Thank you sir, and thank you for your part in making this a memorable season for all of us too, including me. The smack talking was awesome, the respect and recognition given when deserved was awesome, and the games were awesome. We all had our bragging rights moments and we all had our share of crow. Lol.. Let's move on to the playoffs and support each other every step of the way until we meet again and have to be mortal enemies again for 3 hrs.  :D Till then, let's put District 12 on the maps as the most feared district in all of Texas football.  :)

I was impressed with Kirbyville last week. Kirbyville will roll pretty hard against Elkhart. Good luck Cats. I guess all the smack talking has come to an end between us unless we meet in the playoffs. WildcatBacker, Ryker144, kcat-fan and the rest of the people that keep the district games interesting, I just wanted to say Thanks and we will resume it again next time we play. Until then give them heck and let them know what District 12 is all about. LOL As Robin Williams would say: Gooood Mooorning Playoffs.

My two cents on this game.. ~~ Somebody (an EC fan) said earlier that they are tired of seeing/hearing the 'excuse' that certain teams were better "....on this given night". Well I got news for you hoss, that is about the ONLY thing that makes sense in high school football, most notably this district, this year. This has been an amazing season by 3 amazing teams that all wanted it bad. Someone (a Kirbyville fan) said something too about how Kirbyville wouldn't have tried this or that had the point spread not been an issue or whatever. Well, EC PUT US IN A POSITION FOR THAT POINT SPREAD TO BE AN ISSUE. So you can't take that out of the equation. This was an incredible game played by 2 very incredible teams that left it all out there on the field. Kirbyville had to accomplish two things.....1)win (to take 2nd) or 2)win by 11 (to take 1st) They got one of the two, but didn't get them both. So we'll enjoy the heck out of our 2nd place seed and congratulate EC on their 1st. They were BOTH well deserved. Now, let's go show the rest of 3A Div I why they shouldn't be taking the field against the teams from this district. Good luck, kick *bleep*, and take names!  :D  :P  :D

Actually yes I have. (Thank you Jess. I knew you'd have my back) I've been on my days off and very busy with many things, mostly hunting. Lol.. But this site is pure entertainment for me so my life doesn't revolve around it. I go for days sometimes without checking it even with internet access right in front of me. ~~ Now, to the game at hand....I pick Kirbyville by 11+. Jess it is uncanny that you know how I think.  ;)  :P

I know Wildcatbacker was busy this weekend hunting....and during the day unlike me, probably isn't able to access website from his place of employment.

Hey Cowboy Hoss, Malakoff fell off of defense and Kirbyville moved on it. They are hanging on last slot in offense.

In case anyone is curious, (this of course is assuming Buna wins out and Kirbyville and EC both win next week) Kirbyville would need to beat EC by 14 pts or more to take the district championship. EC could win, or lose to Kirbyville by 13 or less and the district is theirs.

Oh no wait....the final was 35- 20? I missed that update. 35-14 was the last I saw. Sorry. That means Kirbyville would only have to win by 8 then, not 14. 

We have a running clock, only 1:52 in 3rd. No starters in on offense for kville. Still 53-0
