a great person...he helped coach my nephew in fall ball a few years ago and really helped him with his pitching.  he does, for sure, have a bright future.  Good Luck!!

warren volleyball plays a different district than in the other sports.  both weird and stupid i think.  possibly 23 2A?  I just know we don't play the same teams as we do in softball.  I'm a fan by daughter, but don't really know much about volleyball. 

WARREN LADY WARRIORS defeat Evadale in 3 straight games.  GREAT job ladies!!  Nice to see Tiff getting some playing time....she served for 5 straight points, the first 4 being ACES.  The sophomores are looking strong ( Allissa, Brandy, Shaina)  Great setting Chelsea, a good night tonight.  Stormy is Awesome breaking serve on that back row.  All the girls did great tonight!!!  The fans are PROUD!!!  team is looking better and better as they go.  Looking real good for district!!!  Keep it up ladies

I too am an old Lumberton alumni, and I always pull for The Raiders.  back in the 80's we kinda stunk!!!  Lumberton has come a long way with their football program.  good luck Raiders

Tiff made the choice to lose her STARTING position....but has made ALL her make ups and deserves to get some playing time as a sub.  2 time 1st team all district and NO playing time??? plus... does she deserve to be punished in games before she even actually misses any practices or games???  I am proud of Tiff and her ability to stand tall and proud even when she is wrongfully punished.  She is a true team player.  whether the coaches are right or wrong, it is their decision to play her or not...NOT TIFF's!!  Put #4 on the floor!!

My daughters love softball.  I love to watch them play the game.  Whether or not they are the best on the field is irrevelent to me.  Whether or not they get a D1 scholorship or not is not our main concern.  I just hope that they continue to have the opportunity to play at a competitive level.  A scholorship and an opportunity to play in college would be great, its just not what is most important.  The things they learn from softball and the fun they have is why they play and why I encourage it.  Regardless of what a girls expectations are concerning their future in softball, it is my opinion, and only an OPINION, that they should enjoy playing and have fun WHILE being competitve.  WORK comes later in life.  I know, even as young ladies, they have to work to become better ball players, and I push my daughters hard...like most Dads do.  But the most important thing to me is that they enjoy playing.  If they don't enjoy it, why would they even want to continue to play?  I know there are girls who want to play college ball and will do whatever it takes to get there while sacrificing many other things.,.but sometimes it doesn't happen, even for those girls.  So have fun, regardless of what team you play for or your teams rank.
