I have to ask.  Why should we care what % are white or protestant?    Why does that matter?

My point is that we don't have much variety of opinions on things in Aledo; we don't have too many arguments or anything...

Many Lumberton parents are upset after a cross dresser was allowed to be a substitute teacher. Evidently the man dressed as a woman and subbed at the intermediate school multiple days last week. No word on which bathroom he/she/it used while at work all day.

Thoughts? Should cross dressers be allowed around middle school aged students?

The fact that we live in a world where this is even an issue blows my mind.

Good point!!  My only response is that with all the drama going on the local school districts here (you would think we were in the heart of NYC with what we are dealing with) maybe everyones attention has bee diverted.  Thanks to JV Coach for posting things like this!!

What are you guys dealing with? At Aledo High School it is 89.9% white, and the majority of those are protestant.

I don't know why no one else has responded to this... I appreciate people who are actually willing to talk about God. I haven't exactly made horrible mistakes in my life, but the ones I have made ended up molding me to be more like Jesus.

I was doing rankings based off of who I think has the best chance of winning state, but with how you see it I agree. We will definitely struggle with Cedar Park, and the California school that we play is supposedly an impressive team.

A little heavy on the Richmond schools but they probably have the highest concentration of talent in the state.

I pretty much agree with every ranking you have except Aledo. I know every single player personally and know how everything inside the program is... We will end up losing to a team with a high-powered offense. The only way we will win state again is if we outscore last years 1,023 points.

Dayton should be in the mix

We're losing our entire defense, but we always restock so eh. I was asking about all top 10 teams, not Aledo.

I was just curious as to what you guys are thinking on the pre-season top 10 in 5A for next year. I'm talking about the "new 5A", which was previously 4A.

I would say Celina, Katy, then Judson/SLC.

I'm depressed that we aren't on there. Then again, we have only been a power house for about 10 years.
