  1. I was told by a friend who's son plays at Hardin, that no matter who they hire, it will be just a title, that the town business owners run the schools business which includes the football team. I'm afraid they'll be at the bottom a long time like that, remember the show Friday Night Lights, the series, well that coach dealt with some of Hardin's crap on there.
  2. Yes we know, but I don't expect to see another 4-6 season anytime soon in Dayton. This one will leave a mark forever and wasn't real pleasant. And I hear we have several kids taking advantage of the summer football camps, I know mine will be.
  3. The Orebo kid is steadily getting bigger, and will lay a hit on anyone, probably one of the hardest hitters as a linebacker from JV, and has nice hands as tight end and receiver, and the Nail kid can pass the ball with precision, and knows the offense well. Although Orebo is one of his favorite targets, he will spread the ball around and had close to 30 passing Tds on the season, and 4-5 rushing. Good things in the works, in Bronco Land.
  4. Some kids even get burnt out or get interested in something else, I just heard we have a kid who quit football recently. This particular kid has played with our kids since they were 9 or 10. I sure hate to hear it, he difenantly always made an impact on defense and offense.
  5. Outside the Beaumont area, in Bronco Land, 2019 potential prospects, Santee, Pike, Orebo, Lovely, Vauter, and Nail. Expect to hear these names quiet often. The Friday night lights will be exciting again come August/September. Looking forward to see these atheletes to just name a few.
  6. The 2017 & 2018 football season will be looking bright for the Dayton Broncos. Although we may not have any nationally recognized atheletes as of yet, we will be stout to say the least. We will have strength in all positions, with returners in the backfield Zack Pike and Justin Santee who made a statement on varsity in 2016, running the ball, and on the receiving end we have Jake Torres, Treble Keener, Keith Williams, Keith Martinez, and Martin Gallegos returning. Most of the O-line who will be back protecting a QB AJ Nail, who will throw on the run as well as the pocket as good as any, or turn it up the field if those two things fail. Coming with him is a JV squad with talent at every level from the running backs to receivers, some may be new to you now but after mid-season most will be familiar with, receivers/tight-ends RJ Orebo, Christian Ramirez, Jermond Lovely, and William King, to name a few will make a statement on the varsity level. Returning defense will be somewhat new as quiet a few seniors leave, but we will be stout on the defensive line and the linebacker and secondary will be young but tough between the returning varsity and upcoming JV atheletes. As always Go Broncos!!!!!
  7. Nice, congrats to our neighbors, Howard from Crosby and Slack from Liberty.
  8. Sure did, that's what he wore to the Conroe game, I seen.
  9. Ought to be interesting because the Broncos should have a gunslinger in there as well, 6'2" AJ Nail, receivers will be Senior Torres, and juniors Ramirez, lovely, 6'7" Orebo, and Martinez, with Pike and Santee in the back field, yep we gonna be alright too.
  10. Greatly missed in Bronco land. Prayers sent for all family and friends, He was a great man and a great Bronco fan.
  11. Nice highlight reel, gonna be tough the next couple years, maybe we will have a sea of purple again come Bi-district time next year. It's just something about that purple.
  12. 21-5a will run a sweep on 22-5a next year and if not, we will still take it 3-1. Dayton, Crosby, New Caney, and Barbers Hill. Sorry 22-5a nothing personal, just business.
  13. Always one winner and one looser, hold your heads up high liberty
  14. Coach Taylor must've gave one hell of a pep talk at half
  15. He does coach fast paced b-ball which I believe is new to these kiddos in Dayton, and well liked by all.
  16. Dayton varsity wins this one big by 20 plus, defense was lights out.
  17. Bronco94 and family will head to Conroe Friday for a 2:00 game to support the 2016 Liberty Panthers. If you walk on the field as a winner, you will walk off the field one. Good Luck!!!!!
  18. As for Bronco94 and family we are gonna be at Conroe supporting our neighbors, the 2016 Liberty Panthers, personally know a few dad's of some players and during the little league years a few boys not to mention any names, slack, fregia and I'm sure a few others gave Dayton little league baseball and one year at the super bowl in Hardin where the score at the end of regulation was 0-0, and ended with the Panthers winning in OT 6-0 off of a truck play executed nicely by slack. Nice call Terry Don. Well enough of the reminiscing, Good luck Panthers, and there will be only one winner on that field, so walk on that field as a winner, and walk off as one too.
  19. They did make it with s 2-2 district record I believe and barely won those but were one and done.
  20. I just diagnosed you with tunnel vision. Sometimes you gotta look outside the box. And mam, your more than welcome to make whatever comments you want, but like I said, They will be remembered, and next year things will be different and the next year as well, so don't try to get on here and say"I knew it or I called it, or no other BS like that because you've lost the ability to be a true Bronco, over one season, but you can't put out the fire and desire of the next 50 kids to take that field in 2017. There is a few rent houses in Rusk, Tx. You can find them on Middleofnowhere.com, and feel free to browse, but from what I hear Hancock had a rough first year there as well, so maybe you can see his picture because you have made it known that you can't see Jeff Nations'.
  21. It's no surprise to me that Crosby lost in round two. They just weren't as salty as they have been in previous years, whether it was discipline issues or players out of position, just not that great. Sloppy play with good atheletes is no different than sloppy play with great atheletes. When you got a player going D1 to LSU as a receiver, you would think that he would be played in his position, but it is funny how Crosby fans love their coach, players, etc. but trail the whole game and then loose in round 2 ,again, "oh I been saying this and that all year" shoulda woulda coulda. And as far as Bronco Pride, man you got issues. There is a lot of hatred and anger inside you. You just gonna have to figure out how to get over it, there is a lot of fans for Dayton that also missed out on the playoff fun, along with their kids and the rest of the team, but I know we will back in the top two spots in district next year and enjoy a nice playoff run. But if you get tired of logging in setx as BroncoPride, you could change it to CougarPride, EaglePride, or GrumbledBroncoPride, stop hating brother, come on home now because next year may be too late for you because of your statements this year, social media is forever. GO BRONCOS 2017!!!!!!!
  22. When you don't nothing to loose, sometimes a team shows up to play. That's the playoffs for you, yea yea yea I know, we gotta wait til next year.
  23. Well I don't like the hill either but I will say it's hard to win a ball game by throwing 4 picks, but they almost pulled it off, against yalls top team. And Porter, well yep their first playoff game in 5a was one to remember, but those are hardly enough to beat on your chest, oh and the other two games well, a W is just what they were. In the playoffs thats the kind of games the fans want to see.
  24. Congrats New Caney and Crosby 21-5A still in this thang
