Nederland has Clear Lake coming up. Both teams will have improved by then. Can't wait to see how they handle them.

One poster said they were cupcakes..lol. I thought they were competitive.


Also a shout out to the band! They came out a little late and only brass played. We got to hear Cherokee and they made the miserably wet conditions in the stands a lot more bearable. They rocked the whole game.

First off Jake94 Ill take that as a compliment. Secondly we played a pretty solid game. Still plenty of room for improvement. Highlights- The two conections between Morse and Giblin and Morse and Sparks are spectacular these kids have been at it for years especially Morse to Giblin and it shows. Biggest improvements since two-a-days offensive line deserves A+ keeping that stud linebacker in check most of the night. That guy is very legit. If you team doesnt have a passing attack that is effective that defense will eat you up. The defense played a lights out game after the first drive. I give them an A. We played well and I was impressed. Time to rest up and heal up the games only gonna get harder

As much as it pains me to say, Indians are legit this year! I'm not saying it again though. LOL

I knew this would eventually happen. I started off last season saying it needed to. Walker is an athlete that will do well wherever you put him, and Morse is a natural quarterback. This was the most sensible decision.

Yes Walker was superb in his time at CB two seasons ago.

how faithful will they be if they don't make the playoffs and PNG wins district?

Correct. PNG 7 on 7 was horrible last year, but when they threw on the pads and the big ugglies it was a different story. Thus being good at 7 on 7 this year then puting on the pads and the big uglies will make PNG worse???

In '89 and again in '99 those were the only L's for PNG going into the playoffs. '89 finished 12-2 and '99 finished 14-2...Well done Stangs...Well Done!
 
The '98 game at Dan Ray Hooks Stadium, ended with the clock running out on about the 2 yard line with Long trying to get everyone to the line to spike it for shot at the game winner.

Which coach should I ask? The one I asked stated PAM wanted a written promise PN-G would not run the score up on them.

I think unlike last year the top three teams in this district will be pretty good this year.

PNG returns a lot of experience and will be adding a nice group of underclassmen athletes to that experience in the upperclass.
Some new names to remember come fall, McZeal & Hauck. Both will have big impacts on the 2014 Indians.
