First off,  hats off to Silsbee on the win.

I completely agree with you on each point. there is no replacing 99 (not on current roster) as much  as Ty'Anthony is of a force on Defense Tylon's presence on the field  impacts a game just as much.

Speaking of #9, the play there toward the end of regulation when they called holding blows me away. it was such a bang bang play how in the heck was there time for holding?

yes all day every day I like the go for 2 there at the end

I believe they called ineligible receiver downfield on that play and not holding

Losing 99 was a huge blow. He is disruptive as I have seen for Jasper since Red Bryant.

i understand the strategy with 4, but Jasper has got to be able to get the ball to that TE. He is such a weapon.  The wrs and dang talented too, but obviously that is a tough defense to throw on.

silsbee allowed jasper to stay in the game with all those turnovers.  And the call to go for 2 was a no-brainer.  Great play to end it by whoever that was on the edge.  Had 3 big blockers over there and he came through untouched somehow.

That was Jonah Brown. Heck of a play

I don’t think Jasper is a lot better than last year Silsbee defensively is not better than last year. They have not been able to replace a lot of key play makers. This will hurt them in the playoffs. In my opinion they haven’t done anything different offensively from last year.

They found our weakness tonight with Smith and that wildcat. That kid is the real deal

he did. he got done over by UIL

what's crazy is in that season of 2004 we beat Diboll 13-0 in first round of playoffs. they had a receiver that we couldn't stop bit the Qb was awful.

    That receivers name?

    Jeremichael Finley.

    Wow I didn’t know that

it was 29-28. our qb Gilbert Moye fumbled the ball on last play of game as he was crossing goal line.

Guess what? we went to State that year.

That’s right it was 29-28 and I think it was the state championship that was 49-47 or something like that to Gilmer. Gilbert Moye was a sophomore QB at the time that Silsbee couldn’t stop. I believe he ended up at Diboll.
