I would like to see this game.  My mind says Woodville but my gut says Hardin.  This is the only game in our district Friday night that it just too close to call.  But who knows in the "little SEC".

Good game Coogs!!!

Third time for these 2 teams to play in as many years.  Center won the first meeting in Center 33-30.   Buna won the last meeting 27-7 at home.  Always a good game.  Buna's Offense, Defense and Special Teams looked good for their first game and hopefully they keep improving.  Coogs get the win!!!

Defensive game? 

Yes it was a defensive game and special teams played big in this one too.  Lower than average number of penalties and most of them came later in the 2nd half.  This game was decided by special teams.  OF missed their extra point on a bad snap and missed a field goal that would have changed the outcome.   Buna blocked OF's second field goal attempt with 4 seconds left in the game.  Great defensive battle by 2 teams that understand each others offense very well.  Good luck to OF!!!

I know this is the 50th+ meeting between the two schools.  Does anyone know the exact number?

The records I found show Buna has won 25 and OF has won 28 with 3 ties.  The scores were very close in several of the  games.  Always a great game!

Wow, i also cant remember a game with no walks. What was yhe total time of game? Probably pretty fast considering high strike outs and low hits.

Not sure on the time but it was definitely a faster paced game.

Grant Anderson threw a complete game allowing 3 hits, 10 k's and no walks.  He threw 82 pitches with 57 strikes and 25 balls.

Joe Clark threw a complete game also allowing 7 hits, 5 k's and no walks.  90 pitches with 70 strikes and 20 balls.

It's been a while since I've seen a high school game with NO walks in the game!
