Boston will be tough to beat but Beckett is the only powerhouse pitcher on the staff. Dice K is just average and Schilling is on the downhill side of his career. If they get the bats going nobody will beat them.

I know HD has some really good athletes this year and I thought the new guy in charge Coach Slack would really get these guys motivated but they haven't played like I thought they would so far. It seems they might have had a pretty tough pre-district schedule or maybe some injurys or players moving out of town but whats going on down there. All the posters from that area have suddenly dissapeared. I'm sure once district rolls around they will get going and be in the running for the district title.

Crosby is playing good right now and don't your know in the back of their minds they're thinking about a much wanted rematch with Dayton.

West Orange Stark is playing the best football right now and they seem to be getting better by the week. They definitly have the best shot at winning state.

All I've got to say after playing Kirbyvill and Diboll back to back is I'm glad THATS over. Wow 2 awesome teams and it would be a war if these guys play each other. To tough for me to pick a winner as both are loaded with plenty of firepower. Congradulations on your victory Diboll. Liberty has a bye week now to heal and make some adjustments.

You've got to understand 99.9 is a small hometown radio station broadcasting the Dayton and Liberty games so I'm told they're pretty biased. Take it with a grain of salt and congradulations on your big win Lumberton.

Kirbyville took it to us tonight 38-20 but I was proud of the way our boys didn't give up. Kirbyville has alot of talent and #2 Rhodes was unstoppable. Hazelwood did ok but I thought our pass defense looked good against them. Their running attack just killed us. Offensivly Liberty moved the ball fairly well and we didn't have any turnovers I think which is a first for us. Overall I think we did o.k. against one of the top 3A teams in the state. Congradulations Kirbyville and good job Liberty.

The Boston manager Terry Francona is an idiot. Anybody could tell you should take Schilling out after 6 innings and tonight he puts Gagne in who has already blown about 4 games for the Sox and he does it again tonight. Gagne shouldn't pitch again unless its in mop up duty.

Coldspring should win this game. I just realized that Liberty will have to play Kirbyville, Diboll, and Coldspring one after another.

I really thought Huffman would win this game. Santa Fe didn't look very impressive to me even though it was a scrimmage I saw them in early in the season. Huffman has some very good younger players on that team so maybe they're a year or two away.
