AggiesAreWe please check your sources regarding information on Yates. Doakes did not play on Wednesday 01-15-2020 against Wheatley. Doakes has not played for Yates this season. Doakes is still in street clothes. I will update this thread if he is in uniform today. FYI, I am one of several volunteers for the boys basketball team and I have not missed a game this season.

After reading this thread it appears that this is a statement game for HJ, win on the road and it’s a big confidence builders for the next time they met at HJ. HJ loss tomorrow and it will be the same old story in district play “Silsbee District Champs”

Taking Silsbee to win this game at home, the crowd, atmosphere and 1st place is on the line. Pressure will bust a pipe and I don’t think HJ is ready for that type of pressure. The runner up in this district will most likely face Yates in the Area Round of the playoffs

After conducting 2 hrs. of research on teams in district 22, I can safely predict The Tigers will have at least 2 to 3 blowout wins in district play this year.

This blowout win tonight in district indicates to me that Silsbee still rules district 22. Maybe WOS had a bad game, I don’t know but the final scores indicates this game was not close. The Tigers was up by 36 at one point of this game

You are correct, I did say 32+, he emptied the bench to early. For the record this was a blowout.

I predicted the Tigers would win this game by 30+ and was slammed about me my prediction and not knowing the teams in this district or this Silsbee Team. It appears that West Orange - Stark is the same old team Blow Out .

AggiesAreWe, you are correct I am clueless about the teams in district 22 other then Silsbee. My opinion is I don’t see any team in district 22 other then Silsbee making it to the Regional Semi in Huntsville therefore I believe The Tigers should win this district
