I must agree with Hicks on this one, Rubin Jones 6-4, Gerald Doakes 6-3 & Antwon Norman 6-0 can shot from long range, rebound and finish at the basket with ridiculous dunks. It’s going to be a Very Fun Season at Yates. I have be told by someone close to the team that the T’s have been crossed and the I’s dotted for this season.

Maybe the reason LIberty Hill missed their free throws and were off on the 3 ball, they were tried from the fast pace of the game

If #23 for Yates can stay out of ridiculous and foolish fools he should have his way down low. If Yates continue to shoot the ball the way they have in the playoffs this game will be fun.

You are correct Yates could improve on the boards, but they were able to score 94 pts last night while probably being out rebounded.

Yates will press in an attempt to fatigue their opponent. Yates press attempts to achieve 3 things turn overs, fast pace and fatigue. LIberty Hill fell in that trap and by the 4th qtr they were done. From what I observed last night Silsbee can’t press for 32 minutes because they don’t have a deep bench and it would fatigue their starters. My experience is if you run a team for 32 minutes and make them play on both ends of the court the first thing that goes is their legs and the long range shot.

I will agree with that statement, but Yates has a deep bench and let’s say the refs were a little sensitive
