Texas Parks And Wildlife was called to investigate the disappearance of Hawks in Sour Lake due to the amount of BEAR SCAT left in the end zone and through out the small east Texas town. Two HJ faithfuls Beldeman and Mofo seen walking the streets with shovels in hand! Saying its a dirty job but someone has to do it!

You have every reason to be excited, third place in district last year was outstanding. You had a good playoff run and I think you might win several games in the playoffs this time around, also. I hope DuBois stays around awhile, another run and your going to have to up his pay to keep him. I'll be the first to admit that us over at WOS may be a little spoiled winning so many games over the years.  We simply can't relate to what you went through the past ten years or so. Your going to make the playoffs, no doubt about it. The Bears will be a good measuring stick for you. I would love to wish you good luck but I have coached so many of the kids over at LCM. I will wish you to stay injury free all season and good luck every other game except ours. :)

Just trying to get a post out of you Bedelmon ;) . I think all WOS fans have tremendous respect for what Hj has accomplished in short period of time. I don't remember any WOS posts saying your talentless or suck. Your a very good team. EVERYONE plays WOS with something to prove, we just usually prove them wrong.

Even Lumberton won when the promoted the Jr high / JV coach to the head coach (Creduer (sp)) he built from bottom up and it paid off in the long run!

LCM has played WOS, Barbers Hill and Goose Creek Memorial. 2 of those schools are 5A and WOS always a power house. We trailed BH by 2 with about 9 min left in game and lost by 14 and beat Goose Creek Mem last week by 6 and the score should have been worst than that, but turn overs hurt on a wet field. My point is the competition that the Bears have played so far out weighs the Jasper, Kountze and Beaumont Kelly that HJ played. That why LCM will roll in this game
My prediction for WOS and HJ game is mustangs by 14

This is one of those, and always has been, throw your records away fight to the death games. Doesnt matter if one team is 0-8 playing against 8-0. Its always a snotbubbler. Both teams play this game like its their last because of the respect for one another. Alot of Wos' most "edge of your seat" games have come playing Jasper. Just a few off the top of my head, 1986, '87, 97, 13. I know there are a ton more. Another interesting thought....it seems like some of the most successful years Wos has had, they had to play Jasper twice. Sometimes spliting the games.

I dont know you, I didnt witness what happened in the game, and I know nothing about your sons. I do know what its like to have someone run down my child and I know the rage that creates in me as a father.  From your posts in this thread I would say that you have worked your whole life to overcome the circumstances in which you grew up and to protect your children from the dangers you had to face.  If that is true then you have shown your sons what a man really is.  By posting your response here you have defended them like a father defends his kids in a manner that is equal to the way in which they were attacked.  My only advice is to continue to be the example you have been to them so far.  Let your rage pass and show them that a man can be above the criticism of others and forgive those who speak from ignorance.  You and your sons are to strong to be hurt by the word of fools.
