Nederland's sophomore team won 16-0. Vidor had no pitching. (they may be on varsity or jv)
Nederland's JV team won 7-2
When Nederland's freshman class gets to be juniors and seniors they will be a pretty tough team to beat. They will be loaded with pitching.
Chase Kemp, Caine Williams, Austin Junot, Burke Badon,Connor McGrath, Chad Sanders that's just to name a few.

Nederland Freshman class will be a solid baseball team when they are Junior's an Senior's. They have some good kids coming up and will be loaded with pitching.

Just like high school basketball players that practice trying to dunk all day and spend very little time shooting free throws, high school baseball players spend most of their time in the cages hitting dingers and very little time taking ground balls/fly balls. Hence, the increase in "errows".

My son #2 Elishah "Li Li" Simpson pitched pretty good tonight. He is a Freshman and gave up unearned runs on untimely eras. Looking forward to seeing him progress as well as my son #26 Dezmon Simpson, Ozen will be fine!

I can honestly say that Foshee was the best pitcher Nederland has seen all year...the young man threw a great game!
 
I hope Price's injury is not serious...need him come Friday but we will really need him come next week against LCM and PNG.
 
Bordelon did a good job on the mound and the freshman Kemp continues to impress me.
 
We gotta keep the errors down or it will be a long season!
