Nederland handles things in 2...Go Dogs!

Never see much posted, but the Warriors have made the playoffs. I went and watched them last night. They were playing a team to see who took first seed and second seed. They ended up losing, but played well and have some good weapons. From what I was told they will play the number 1 team in their TAPPS division the first round. Best of luck to the Warriors in the playoffs.

Congrats to UH sophomore and BC grad Jake Lemoine for being selected to pitch for the collegiate national baseball team. What a great honor.
 
The last Cougar pitcher to pitch for team USA??? Nederland graduate Brad Sullivan who went 7-0 against international teams.

Hats off to WOS for pulling out the victory tonite. Good teams take advantage of every opportunity (strategy, other teams miscues, beneficial calls, heads up baseball) and that's exactly what they did tonight. BC leaving a ton of guys on base is a big part of the story, just couldn't get the timely hit. WOS played very well tonite and should be congratulated on the win.

As far the umpiring crew goes it's an embarrassment to TASO that they send guys like this to call a high profile game. Both coaches should be insulted that a guy who was playing Babe Ruth 2 years ago was put in charge of such an important district game. Both of these guys were in way over their head and it showed. Both schools deserve better in my opinion. It's a shame to do what they did to any team. Certainly took away from the contest for all involved. I can guarantee neither of these guys will ever work a BC game again and I'd be shocked if they ever call one for WOS either.

This is the present and over the last what?, 3 years, nobody has beat them in 20-4A. Now will they be the most talented team next year? Probably not but until someone finally breaks through and beats them, the Bulldogs are the kings.

Kudos. Greater man than he is a coach and that says a whole heck of a lot.

This 9th grader does not pitch like a 9th grader. Good job Chase and team with a big win at the reservation.

Dalton Horton pitched a no hitter Tuesday night vs Huntington. Horton struck out 20 while walking 5. Josh Burns and Ross Mahan led the Riders at the plate combining for a 4-6 1dbl and 2 runs

With Bridge City's tough 4-2 win over Hamshire-Fannett the Cardinals secured their 23rd District Championship in school's history.

The #2 State Ranked Cardinals 19-2-2 (9-0) with a Senior class record of 38-3 in district play with 3 to play.

Kemp kept the PNG hitters off balance all night. Kid was nasty and hitting his marks all night.

Was a great game from where I was sitting! And what a memorable way to end a Mid County Madness game. 2 old teammates playing against each other. One pitching & one batting! These young men played together for over 6 yrs. Great game Bulldogs & Indians..... Kemp had one heck of a game too, great things coming for this young man! So proud to be a Bulldog!

Coach Robbins also got his 200th Victory tonight against the Indians. Which makes it even better.

One of the varsity's best players is a freshman. Not many freshman have started at Nederland over the years.

Nederland Sophmore team won last night 7-0. They did not make any errors way to rebound!
