Actually Soulja, it's if I go to Central game and all of a sudden everyone stops talking, the band stops playing, the drill team stops dancing, the players stop running on the field and everyone looks at me like Smokey and Dre on the movie Friday. The atmosphere that PNG talks about is no longer. It's a fashion show, who wears the most bling, who knows the most people, who has a new purse, hair and nails did. Half the people there leave after the halftime because their kid is in band or Indianettes. Fights in the stands because some drunk guy is being loud about a kid sucking and kids dad hears it. Women fighting because they caught their husband checking out some silicone walking up the stands. Now that is ATMOSPHERE! Lol Of course, this was the 15 years that I witnessed.

Unless your pretty dang old, or you don't want to be around people of other skin color. See how people can flip things when hardly any of us know each other? We could argue this crap forever, or you could root for area teams to challenge Houston, Austin, and Dallas for football supremacy no matter what school it is. Need to quit with this crazy talk.

Being a Bruin graduate, I think WB takes this one. WB has Central number. Central probably needs to take them off of the schedule. Lol

I know Sterling has issues, and it was a scrimmage, but BH picked them apart. No kickoff or punt return, but offense was impressive. OL held their own ag against a bigger Sterling front. Vidor and BH have something to prove in this game. I just wouldn't put all my eggs in a basket on returning starters. It will be a good matchup. Now, let's geaux! Lol

BH by 21 points. BH knows how to defend Vidor type offense. Vidor won't be able to defend the BH pass game. BH about to start the season of upsets. Nobody giving BH a chance for a playoff spot, starting next week we begin to change people's minds.

Nobody new moving to the Golen Triangle. WOS and Newton stays good because when kids graduate, they stay there and reproduce. It's the same almost every school in the area, that's why it's the same every year going to the playoffs. Teams like Aledo, Allen, Katy, Westlake, Manvel and every other suburd of a metropolitan city to busting at the seems with growth. New people with skills moving to those places every day. Every now and then, somebody will catch lightning in a bottle, but usually it's the same schools.

No seriously. Most of them have elementary aged kids. Just hope we can put a good product out there.

BH has quite a few new coaches including 3 from Allen, 1 from Spring Westfield, 1 from HS in Alabama and maybe a couple others. I know we have a lot of coaches. Not sure if there is a maximum or not.

Buddy, I have to admit, I miss the days of donkey stomping them Yellowjackets and Bumblebees. The Honeybee's made halftime worth it though.

LoL, hey our 91 team was hot, but WB reminds me of BH, we struggled to get out of 1st round every year after going undefeated. Then Ozen opened up and the rest is history.

Oh yea, I always forget about PAM. They have depressed me over the years after combining 3 schools and under performing. Thought for sure with the athlete's that come out of PA, ya'll would've made some deep runs. So add Memorial to the mix. Not impressive for our area for sure to only get past the 2nd round a handful of times in past 10 years.

There is no powerhouse in the upper classifications in SETX. WB is the only 6A team left in the area. If you look at 21 and 22-5A playoffs teams in the last 10 years, there's not one team that would be considered a powerhouse. Teams that have went past 2 nd round the most in last 10 years is Dayton 5 times, Crosby 2 times, Central 2 times and Nederland 2 times. Mediocre teams with a local powerhouse flavor. That's about it.

I will be surprised if BH don't battle for 3rd or 4th this year. Practice is starting to look alot better. May be some surprises this year. Stay tuned.
