That would be League City Bay Area. Winners against San Antonio Keystone 12-2.
-
Another very good game tonight in League City. Bay Area wins in 8 innings by a score of 4-3. Great game played by both teams.
Bay Area has had three tough games this week alone.
Bay Area lost 2-1 on Monday to Galveston O'Connell
Beat Baytown Christian 4-1 on Tuesday.
Beat Beaumont Legacy 4-3 on Friday.
Tapps District 5-3A will have four very good representatives this year in the playoffs.

I thought St. Thomas Episcopal did not have a team this year. They forfeited against us.
-
Hmm. Was Baytown afraid? LOL
-
Anyone know the score on this one?

Bay Area Christian 7-3 winners over Legacy Christian. Senior pitcher Rebecca Pursley outlasted the youngster from Legacy, #5 Breaux in a real pitchers duel. Pursley now has a 3-0 record and 1.25 ERA in district play. Good Luck to Legacy the rest of the way. They have a very good young team and are going to win a bunch of games this year.

Very well played game by both teams. Best game I have ever seen between these two teams. Good young pitchers on the Warriors this year. Best of luck the rest of the season and go beat O'Connell and Baytown.
-
We will get to play you guys next Tuesday. Sounds like a very good team this year.
-
What happened to HD defense. The one thing you could always depend on was a bunch of boys who would hit you but 70 points does not sound very good. I hope HD finds some defense and pride and takes it to WH.

Bay Area Christian is ranked #1 in TAPPS and Woodlands Christian is ranked #2. Should be a very good game in the Woodlands.

Bay Area Christian loses 9 seniors from a team that made it to the State Championship two years in a row. That being said they return five starters this year and should be pretty tough. They will miss all-state pitcher, team captain and Mary Hardin Baylor athlete Karen Tennis along with their all-state catcher from last year but senior pitcher Rebecca Pursley should be able to take up some of the slack. Also returning are all-state first base Morgan Yates, all-state 3rd base moving to catcher Madison Dixon and all-state outfielder Jordan Rogers. With a new district of eight teams this year it will be difficult to make it to the state tournament for a third year in a row but these girls know how to win and expect it.

Bay Area Christian is included in the District Standings but I guess they are not part of SETX football. If they were I believe they should be rated number one on the small school private rankings. They are Number 1 in TAPPS and 6-0 record with an average victory margin of 40 makes them a pretty good team.
-
I would just like to say that I have been watching small school football for the past six years and I truly believe that Bay Area Christian would probably beat any school on the 2A-Private top 15. I guess they must not be considered SETX..
Rolled Lutheran North tonight 66-0. 49-0 at half. Average margin of victory is 40 points per game. Ranked #1 in TAPPS.

Lady Broncos made it to the finals of TAPPS Division 3A and were defeated by Lubbock Christian. The run came to an end with a 10-0 defeat. Great year and we will miss the 9 seniors.

BACS Lady Broncos win their first two playoff games 10-0 over Bryan St Joseph and 11-1 over Katy Faith West. Both game were by run rule in 5 innings. Next game next Friday in Waco at 12 noon for a chance to play in the State Championship game on Saturday. Last year the Lady Broncos won the state title with a 4 game overall score of 32-4. Looks like they are on the same track again this year. Just dominant.

Bay Area Christian 17 Beaumont Legacy 0 in 3 Innings
Lady Broncos have outscored district opponents 49-0 while posting 4-0 record.
-
Have won 9 of last 10 games. With one loss being 1-0 defeat to St Pius. Defeated Beaumont Legacy Christian 16-0 yesterday in 3 Innings. Pitching staff has allowed one run or less in last 10 games. State Bound Again!!!
-
Will this tournament be played again next year?
-
Karen Tennis Bay Area Christian has 3 long balls this year.
-
Bay Area Christian ranked 8th in TAPPS all classifications. 2 of 3 losses have been to 5A TAPPS schools 1-0. Overall record is 8-3.

BACS wins again. Taking all four games at Bellville Faith tourney in Bellville this weekend. Lady Broncs win by a combined score of 32-4 with wins against Pope John XXIII, Concordia Lutheran, Bryan Brazos Christian and Bellville Faith. The championship game matched the two defending state champions from 2013. Final Score BACS 6 Bellville Faith 1. Lady Broncs will be very hard to beat again this year.
-
Bay Area Christian won Pasadena tournament with Galveston O'Connel, FBCA, Christo Rey and Bay Area. FBCA won first round game but Bay Area went through the loser bracket to take championship. Championship game score 8-1.
Just another trophy to add to the case for the Lady Broncos over the past two years. Defending state champs have 6 returning starters and are looking very good this early in year.

My daughter plays for Bay Area Christian in League City. She is playing in state tournament next week and then we have vacation. She would be available to play after June the 6th. She pitches, plays 3rd and 1st base. Currently all-district 3rd baseman but plays everywhere but catcher. Looking for a team this summer.

Good news for BACS. I thought Legacy might be some competition for them.
Beaumont Legacy vs. Schertz John Paul/Post updates here!
