PNG showed everyone how to stop this offense last year. They will do it again.
If they beat LH they are going to end up playing SOC again and this time around PN better play 4 quarters instead of just one half like they did last yr.

those top three would be a strong district. Spendora wont win a game. The 4th spot id probably go with Nederland
It would be a hell of a district every year imo.

When does it become official?

Me too.
Don't see the upside to this one.
Should have tried to go for Dan Lanning.

Are you talking about the Aggies.

If both of these hold true then the question here is do we as a site still cover the 6A district?
If not, I think we should cover the other 5A DI district that includes Crosby.
I would think DeSoto would stay in the 6A imo because with how good the program is they would capture more students to the school.

Not necessarily. On paper it might be that. But that's my opinion 🤷🏾♂️
Then I just noticed Aledo too as well you imagine a state title game between DeSoto and Aledo.

I like our district! And we get 4 non-district games to get ready for district, perfect if it happens.
I can't believe that Desoto is falling into 5A with this that means pretty much all roads in 5A Division 1 will go through Desoto.

Alamo still has some payback to give Liberty Hill. That’s been the Region Final the last 2 years.
And if they beat them they will probably most likely play Port Neches.

This about to be a blowout
This will probably be the team if Port Neches beats Huntsville will have to play in the state semifinals.

I agree. NRG will not host unless it's a Friday game.
Cy Fair stadium is also a likely venue.
If it was a Friday game wouldn't that decision have happened today.

NRG or TDECU would be the likely place for this one.
Where is TDECU located at?

They have in the past, not sure about this particular season.
Would Homer Bryce stadium be a good one.

Wouldn't that incident ruin any chance for high school football playoff games being hosted there.

Port Nachos want NRG!
Didn't NRG have an incident at one of the games last night.

That’s kind of unusual. Usually the 4 teams have a few fields reserved and agree to something pretty quick after both winners are figured out. Unless they are looking at NRG, I don’t see what the hold up is. NRG would be the only field they would wait on I believe.
I mean it is the thanksgiving weekend and probably some of the district employees are probably out of town is my guess.

Any word on when and where the game will be?
I think a good stadium choice would be Legacy Stadium in Katy or Homer Bryce Stadium

I assume the game between PNG and Huntsville should be somewhere in North Houston right?
Rice Stadium or Baytown Stallworth

You imagine if Port Neches and Lovejoy meet up in a playoff game it will be something else to see that.
