What is PNG holding him back from exactly? You obviously have not looked at the PNG roster. They have had 9 sophomores playing significant roles this year, with three of the offensive lineman being sophomores. The starting center got injured last offensive play against Nederland and was lost for the playoffs. They lost in the third frikin round of the playoffs! Last time I checked 11-2 making it to the third round is not a bad year! You guys are talking about 15-18 year old boys like they are in the college and the NFL! Roschon has childhood friends he is playing with! He is playing in front of one of the largest High School fan bases in the nation every Friday night a place that is rich in tradition! Only two teams a year can win a state championship in the 5A rank! It takes an overall special group of kids to win one!

Anahuac was up 30-26 at halftime.
Anahuac came out from halftime and scored 4 three pointers and two mid range jumpers to go up 46-26 mid way through the 3rd.

JV won again to remain a undefeated with two
tournament championships and Freshman did not play but they only have one loss to PAM in tournament Championship game and they have a tournament championship at Nederland tournament too, 
PNG is trying to change its culture and it is on the right track! Great Job ladies!

I saw they turned around and beat Splendora in tournament 44-43
they also won 51-30 over Huffman
so I guess 6-3 overall. Max Preps doesn’t have those two games entered from Saturday of Splendora Tournament. Thanks Ashly for the update. I found the other two scores from Livingston HS FB page.

I haven’t seen anything about PAM girls, how are they doing this year? They had a Sophomore post/power forward that showed a lot of potential last year.

PNG lost to West Brook by 12 and Tarkington by 2 on Thursday (I don’t remember the scores)
PNG won against HF on Friday score above.
PNG won against Nederland 49-32 and against WOS 40-32 finishing the tournament (3-2) and wining the silver bracket championship and is now (4-3) on season.
PNG JV and Freshman teams both won their respective division Nederland tournament.
 

Thanks coach! They are both Sophomores and the team does not have any seniors. They are hoping to earn at least that 4th Place in the district. It is a tough district! Good luck to you guys the rest of the way!

PNG had great guard play - #32 and 5 played very well.   They will definitely  be a team to watch in District 5A

Well not the way PNG wanted it to go, lost 3-1. Great season ladies, I have enjoyed watching you seniors over the years.

Crosby played us tough last night! 
(25-23, 25-12, 20-25, 25-22)
The girls played tough and picked it up in set 4 after being down 10-4 early and down 20-15 late in that set making some really good adjustments and got Crosby girls rattled late to rally back and earn the W. The senior girl for Crosby was definitely a force to be dealt with, she is a very good volleyball player!

Basketball is upon us as teams start practicing tomorrow! Can’t wait, love me some basketball!

I went back and read this tread and I am really disappointed in the amount of PNG fans giving up on the defense and the team at halftime and think it is funny the PAM fans before the game saying the offense can’t just outscore us and when with the defense PAM has. PNG fans should be apologizing to the defensive boys who held PAM to 6 points in the second half. What about the PNG offense who nobody mentioned, underperformed in the first half. So enough with the Faircloth bashing, better coaches make better halftime adjustments and win games using the entire playbook if that is what it takes. If PAM had that many holding calls, we’ll guess what? That will make your defensive front look bad because you can’t get off the blocks to make the play.
