  1. Looks like WOS is going to put together a Katy-like performance this year.
  2. Appreciate it, but we all know it runs through Hoka Hey right now. I came to the North Shore game too, and for what it's worth I felt like we played y'all the best so far this year. Probably one or two play from making it real interesting.
  3. I think you have to go with Manvel or Judson as the best team in Texas right now.
  4. This is the reason Crosby only dropped one or two spots in all the polls except the AP after we lost to them. Is it a stretch to say Manvel is the best team in the state regardless of class? Pretty impressive 3-0 resume right now.
  5. Dayton used to be able to draw up 40 in the dirt. Now they can't to do that and the softness looks like it's creeping back in. That 20+ year playoff streak is definitely on the line right now.
  6. I think you're seeing what happens when your coach hasn't been on the sideline in five years.
  7. Really expecting something different from BH with all the talk. They didn't even score as much as they did last year under Gage and Crosby scored more with a backup QB. Langelier is the truth, at least kept BH in striking distance for a while.
  8. Barbers Hill probably has 70 yards of offense. Langelier is single-handedly keeping them in the game with a kick return TD and and circus catch to set up the field goal. Sophomore QB looking real salty for Crosby right now.
  9. Kid is nice. Already sitting on at least 11 D1 offers but I think SMU will be lucky to hold on to him if he rushes for another 2,000+ this year. I think UH would be all over him if not for the embarrassment of riches at the qb position they already have.
  10. Meant Dawson lost in the second round for the first time in 7 years. *Is the edit function gone?
  11. Yeah, Dawson lost in OT to Friendswood in the second round for the time in seven years last season. What depths they have sunk to? Wow, smh.
  12. You really have been on here a long time then. I was actually just talking about since BH moved to 5A ten years ago. Y'all only have one playoff win in a decade in this classification but now are expected to be better. Even though we have newly found greatness this is about to be out 12th straight year in the playoffs, the distain for Crosby has built up versus people now rooting for you because you're the underdog. I'm sure people still hate BH but it's now for a different reason than being good at football.
  13. Who's not giving BH a chance to win? Looks like it's 50/50 from some of the predictions I see. One thing you'll learn on here as your team improves is that a loss is a loss, no matter if by 1 or 100 to the #1 ranked team like Cedar Park or some lowly cellar dweller like Vidor. Just warning you that when you talk crap to the squad at the top of the hill that crap often rolls back down in your face. There will be some Crosby posters that will care less about how much we were "supposed" to win by.
  14. Port Neches kids, down by 28 to Crosby in Barbers Hill's stadium wondering why your cousin won't send reinforcements. Don't feel bad though, we do it to everybody before we play those kids off the south side or central Texas.
  15. Lol, the 'ole "We can't beat you but Manvel can" argument again. Interesting that the only fan base that doesn't use that as their go to line is Dayton, I wonder why?
  16. I most certainly will. I know there will be a bunch of excited posters on here with nobody to fact check.
  17. What is the criteria for BH doing well? Winning the game only? Not getting blown out? Playing Crosby close but still losing? Anything inside of 14 points is "giving Crosby all they wanted"? Which one is it or do you just have a feeling?
  18. Crosby moves into top 10 per DC: [Hidden Content] *D2 College Station jumped over Crosby eight spots to #7. DC's has Crosby winning the region over College Station in D2. Crosby goes D1 they get #3, #4 and #5 inside the region.
  19. They probably do that out of necessity. They don't have kids like Derrick Tucker and Jalen Green who can check our receivers or kids like Alfred Bryant to rush throws. I don't think we'll have much trouble moving the ball, especially throwing deep on their dbs.
  20. We played Hutto in the regional final, I don't think they're as good as they were then and probably going to lose to Georgetown tomorrow by a good margin. I don't really think it's a reach because they're both 2-0 with two mediocre wins, Connally has two weeks to prepare for them after they come off a tough game with Georgetown and they get them in Pflugerville. Connally has just been bad the last few years so if I had to bet I would take Hutto also.
  21. GCM didn't have much talent to start with but in general I would say yes. When they were in the district with us they had some solid players that went on to play college ball but now they're signing D1's here and there. Most schools benefit greatly from their enrollment increasing. Just off the top of my head I can think of Dickinson, George Ranch, Foster, Manvel, Dawson, Mongomery, Clear Creek, both Magnolia schools and the entire Cy-Fair ISD which is comprised of eight schools all with an enrollment of 3,000+.
  22. Good luck to you too. I hope your coach doesn't get showed up by a backup qb Friday night.
  23. There is no dry spell coming. It's the common line on here because economic factors caused teams in SETX that used to be contenders to fall off as the landscape changed. Crosby is getting good because the administration is putting the infrastructure in place to be successful along with our population rapidly rising allowing us more kids to choose from. As long as oil and natural gas are our main fuel sources Houston will be the energy capital of the world and a lot of the surrounding suburbs will continue to benefit from it, Crosby will be one of those. Most amusing line is when the people say, "Even though your enrollment is climbing every year the talent will eventually run out."
  24. We're in region 3 and we won region 3, last year we lost to the team that won region three just like we have every year Riordan's been here except one. Don't need any film for that, I watched it in person. I even wore my clown suit.
