How fast is this 6'6 325lb OL?
5.18.....
Maybe with you timing him in the front yard.
Well, the camps that Patrick Hudson attended had him around 5.0-5.1. His height, weight and 40 times are legit. Reason why all the top colleges in the nation are already after him.
I have to tell you I'm sick to death of hearing about how impressive all these studs are at camps.  Let's see them dominate every friday night against quality opponents, keep their grades up, pass the SAT, stay healthy and out of trouble and then we can talk about the top colleges in the nation drooling over them.  And when they finally leave, let's see if they stay at the school they sign with.  How many of these 'studs' either come home with their tail between their legs or they transfer from one school to the next because of politics or a coach not liking them or whatever.  Let's let these 'kids' prove something before we start anointing them the next superstar.  But good luck to the young man.  Hopefully he is able to take advantage of the opportunity that is coming his way.
 5. Takes a big man, or lady, to do that.  Sounds like your son is going to be just fine.  Nederland has a quality coaching staff that is always trying to pull the very best out of these young men.  Sometimes, it's just a little harsh for parents to hear.
What exactly does "yester-year" have to do with PAM vs Central 2013? Guess I missed the point.
ive noticed some (not all) Beaumont ISD fans bring up their dominance against schools in PA that no longer exist. Gotta fall back on something i guess.  :-\
I simply commented on the comparison between BISD 5K and PAM 2400 comment.  Nowhere did I mention anything about dominance over former PA schools.  I think the PA schools were a lot more dominant before they merged into PAM.  That's because kids/families had pride in their schools and where they were from.  Same reason Hebert, French and others were so good.  Few people have loyalty to their programs anymore.  They leave PA to play at Ned or PNG.  They leave WB or Ozen to play at Kelly.  They go wherever the grass looks greener. But back on topic, Central will whip PAM this friday.  And they are going to do it with a lot less kids in their high school.  ;D

 14. PA Memorial (-17) at Central Nederland (-12) at Crosby WO-S (-17) at LC-M Goose Creek Memorial (-25) at Lumberton Silsbee (-16) at PN-G West Sabine (-24) at Kelly Here are the picks that stand out to me and will be interesting to look back on these next week.  Don't know if Central will win but they won't get beat by 17 Ned/Crosby will be closer than 12 points and Crosby may take this one WOS will win by more than 17 GCM might not win and they sure won't win by 25 PNG wins this one and should be fired up about being picked to lose by 16.  It will be a high scoring game Kelly will win this game.  We could witness one of the biggest single season turnarounds in setx football history.  Winless in 2012 to possibly 2-3 losses in 2013.
Glad to see he is back playing some football.  It's always good to see gifted and talented kids like your son playing multiple sports.  I saw him play basketball a couple times this summer and he is a special kind of athlete.  Multiple sports just makes them more well-rounded and conditions their bodies to stay injury-free.  Not to mention how much more fun it allows them to have.  I look forward to seeing him on the football field.  What positions does he usually play?

He does not deserve to be bashed by people who only see the record. He taught so much to me and many former teammates that is more important to us then our w-l column. It should be really easy for mitchell to have success with the program that WUELLER built. I wish the best of luck to my former coach, I can not say for the new, I just hope the upcoming soph/juniors/seniors can carry on what Wueller taught them, and break the barrier and make the playoffs. If the talent is average or nearly equal to the opponent, coaching can be the difference. A players belief in his coach(es) derives from his communication skills, practice and game organization, evaluation and adaption to player skill sets, his self-discipline and his abillity to hold everyone associated with the program equally accountable for TEAM success. A coach who operates with his ego will abandon the one thing he needs most, his players.
let me interject same thought but written differently: Coaches must 'connect' with their players before they can lead them. You gotta have the respect from your players.  You can have all the talent in the world................................... Even though this is probably an effective way, I believe in the old skool way of coaching! (Do as you are told) because you may not be able to connect with every player but every player should know what is expected of them from their coach! We were taught to respect all adults so this was automatically given to our coaches! Coaches coach and players play and that was that, too many kids now-a-days are brought up to be able to voice their dislikes are allowed to rebel if they don't agree with something! They either transfer out or sometimes  even sabatoge a season based on how they feel about a coach! This even sometimes hurts them in the future dealing with bosses or spouses, they often leave their job or marriage because they haven't learned to support somethig or someone they don't fully agree with! Looking at the way these professional athletes get in trouble now-a-days, I prefer that kids are prepared to become good, successful citizens

Those times are somewhat gone. There was a time when teachers were looked upon almost like Gods. Not anymore. You have to double-check them now to make sure they are following the rules, not showing favoritism , etc. Same rule seems to apply in the coaching profession now. ;)
Is that true for every school though?  I don't hear of anyone at HJ having to double-check the coaches for following rules and favoritism???
