So how was Orange supposed to be represented in this story? From what I'm reading in this thread, seems like it should sunshine and rainbows talking about it. The writer's not incorrect when he says that most white students are sent to LC-M or Orangefield (why they don't go to WO-S, I'll leave for others). Bridge City had a racist incident just last year. And Vidor, fair or not, has it's past reputation preceding them. That's before even bringing up the Confederate monument issue on MARTIN LUTHER KING DRIVE. I'm not sure what you want the writer to do, short of not writing the story. It's not a public relations story. It may not be the whole city but that doesn't make it an inaccurate story.

It's a Texas thing. Every other state I've been to, head-to-head with the same amount of district losses would determine the champ. But that's neither here nor there, congrats to PAM and PNG for winning co-district champs. -

So youre totally ignoring what has been said happened. Or you know what happened and still choose to look past it. They shook hands, just not when YOU could see it. Sorry you feel bad about it. -

Someone already said they shook hands at the real coin toss. They have a second not real coin toss. They didn't shake hands then. But if they shook hands for the real one then get over it. -

No overlooking Vidor this year. And if you're going to not shake hands, you better beat the opponent. Bad look if you don't shake and lose. I can already see what direction that's going in. -
I say it in regards to close victories and I'll say it for a blowout: never apologize for a win.

Newton always has a chance lol. Their "off" years are 3rd round. Blue doggy said closer than we think. Did he take Newton -63.5?

From a fairly neutral observation, seemed like the refs made calls that both teams disliked from how this thread has gone. So they must have been consistently bad. But no one ever thinks the refs like their team. Good game, I was keeping up with it on here and through Twitter. That first two drives of the 2nd half set the tone. PAM will bounce back, I don't think there's another offense that explosive they'll have to deal with (Vidor will be tough but nothing like anything PAM will see come playoff time). Great comeback win for PNG. Both teams will be solid come playoffs. PNG still has to worry about defense vs top end teams and like someone else mentioned in this thread, PAM has to learn to play for four quarters. -
