Diboll is capable of winning even if they play only okay, where as EC has to play well in order to have a realisitc shot in my opinion, a average game wont cut it. Thats what i meant by EC  has to play better than Diboll @The Cook

I haven’t seen Diboll play but I can agree with EC ‘s consistency. That’s why I love High School Basketball, anything can happen

Based on what I saw on Tuesday I don't see how Huffman can consistently stop Silsbee's transition game even if they do get back on defense.  The Tigers won't have to go around, they can shoot over the Falcons.  Over the Falcons?  That sounds counterintuitive doesn't it?  

Huffman does represent something of a threat which is a good thing for a change.  So far the prey has been sort of like women washing clothes at the bank of the stream or children playing too far from the village.  Tigers will make those kills but they aren't really that satisfying.  Now we're moving on to bigger game that can run and even fight back.

 

This has to be one of the top 3 corniest insights of a game thread that I have ever read on here lol. Job well done!

Pulled the Starters out midway through the 3rd and started the 4th with subs. They leave their star in so he can pad his stats aganist our subs. I wouldve done the samething. 

I agree with the EC's defense has to make some stops aganist Yoe, but as long as the offense keeps putting up the numbers they are defense just needs a couple stops each half. Offense has put 500 too 600 yards 4 straight games with over 700 aganist crocket and dont see Yoe changing that. 

From what I hear EC will be getting 2 key defensive players back this week. I think this team is hungry and the defense will do enough to get the win. 

Look Im not making any predictions on the game just because it is H.S football and I just hope it is a good game. But with that being said I have watched EC in a couple of scrimmages and the one game. So I can assure you that all these 40 pt predictions I see people saying HF will score. NOWAY EC defense is pretty darn impressive. Very fast.
