Hmmm, desperation...kind of like finding a couple of MNCs over last summer. You know, the ones no other self-respecting school with a strong history claims? The funniest part was that you left one out, just to make it not sooo obvious you were DESPERATELY trying to keep up with the Joneses. Otherwise, you would have mysteriously had the same number as The University of Texas has in real ones. Yeah that worked. I wonder if the school you call desperate will do the same thing to jack our number up to 15 national championships? No, no one else is THAT pathetic. Lol

The butt hurt among Aggies over the LHN is still strong, my friends. As Exhibit 1, I present this thread.

I don't know about "top" backup. Colt McCoy is a backup for the 9ers.

Palin and Romney.....Obama wins/Russia Ukraine issues

Yes, because Clinton's improprieties were swept under the rug by the "liberal media." They weren't front page stories for months. They weren't talked about during his campaign either. Do you really believe the stuff you say? Smh... As for Herman Cain, I don't recall the Dems making a decision on his candidacy. Did I miss where he secured the nomination from his party? I realize this is a bigger issue with the radical right - and people are free to make their voting decisions are whatever criteria they choose. But to suggest his fate was determined by the Democrats is disingenuous at best. Perhaps the "kool alders" are voting in the same primary as you are? -

Lol. A democrat's dream... -
To say the least. I hope Northoftheborder is right about the new regime. Time will tell.

And for the record, I don't quibble with anything you said after the first sentence. On top of those well taken points, this is America...companies should be free to make as much money as they desire within the laws.
-
Technically, you are correct. However, as I am sure you know, gas prices are derivative of a significant part of oil companies' profitability.
-
C'mon buddy. There are a dozen QBs from Texas starting in the NFL. Another ten or so are backups. And I am proud to say ONE of those backups at least is a Longhorn. How could you have doubts after hearing that???? ;)
-
Got to $3.95 during Bush's admin. $3.85 is highest point during Obama. For the most part, the gas prices during both administrations have mirrored each other. Not defending either. Just the facts, sir.
-
Can you enlighten me on the profits made by Big Oil during the huge rise in gas prices during the Bush Administration? Surely they were having a rough go of it and merely passing some of their losses on to the consumer?

Punctuation is your friend. And I am not listening to anyone. That's your problem, not mine. I prefer reading.
-
You are wasting your breath. 10,000 scientists across the world can cite empirical data but if Rush Limbaugh finds one study from a couple of renegades, it's a hoax.
-
But to answer your question, after reading your edit, you are not all wrong in your statement. It is a little misguided though. Without getting into the merits of the gun issue, your point about $ works in favor of gun proponents. There may not be a better funded lobby than the gun folks.

You must have edited. At the time I made that comment, that was your entire comment.

I rest my case. It is obvious to me what side of the argument you guys would have been on when it was suggested the earth was round...

And just an opinion here, if McCain hadn't suffered a serious lapse in judgment choosing that ditz, we might not even still be discussing Obama. And I greatly respect John McCain... -

Sarah Palin is a goofball. Anyone unwilling or unable to see that either needs their mental faculties questioned or is letting personal biases cloud their judgment... -
Same here. I am going next month to see the OKC game and I will go to the last Yankee game this year at Minute Maid to see Jeter. Beyond that, really have no interest in going.
-
No worries. I do the same thing. Happens to is old guys. I was thinking I may have typed it backwards ;)

Final 10, final 5, final 20. Still begs the question.
-
People believing cold winters refutes global warming show their lack of research on the issue. The reverse is actually true. It is extreme adjustments in climate in general. The fact that this is still a debated issue shows the power of rush Limbaugh and the right wing talking heads and the willingness of the American people to ignore science in general (or accept the "findings" of a couple of wing nuts over the masses of scientists).
-
You have that backwards. I said (I think) that the older fans are more blinded by their hatred. The younger ones (under 40) have been much more gracious and openminded in my experiences (even when visiting Kyle field).

Better question would be how he did not end up at Texas..
-
Winston would be the lock #1 pick in the draft of he were able to come out. Hard to quibble with him winning (as it would be hard to say JFF wasn't deserving had he won). As for the rest of it, you could be right. However, when both teams are winning, Texas will still hold the advantage. Kentucky does just fine in basketball even though the SEC is generally weak sauce as a conference in basketball. They pick the school over the conference. Especially when they believe they will never seriously contend for championships at one college. The worm is turning again IMO.
