Do you really believe the stuff you say? Smh... As for Herman Cain, I don't recall the Dems making a decision on his candidacy. Did I miss where he secured the nomination from his party? I realize this is a bigger issue with the radical right - and people are free to make their voting decisions are whatever criteria they choose. But to suggest his fate was determined by the Democrats is disingenuous at best. Perhaps the "kool alders" are voting in the same primary as you are?

And for the record, I don't quibble with anything you said after the first sentence.  On top of those well taken points, this is America...companies should be free to make as much money as they desire within the laws.

Got to $3.95 during Bush's admin. $3.85 is highest point during Obama. For the most part, the gas prices during both administrations have mirrored each other. Not defending either. Just the facts, sir.

Can you enlighten me on the profits made by Big Oil during the huge rise in gas prices during the Bush Administration? Surely they were having a rough go of it and merely passing some of their losses on to the consumer?

Same here. I am going next month to see the OKC game and I will go to the last Yankee game this year at Minute Maid to see Jeter. Beyond that, really have no interest in going.

People believing cold winters refutes global warming show their lack of research on the issue. The reverse is actually true. It is extreme adjustments in climate in general. The fact that this is still a debated issue shows the power of rush Limbaugh and the right wing talking heads and the willingness of the American people to ignore science in general (or accept the "findings" of a couple of wing nuts over the masses of scientists).

You have that backwards. I said (I think) that the older fans are more blinded by their hatred. The younger ones (under 40) have been much more gracious and openminded in my experiences (even when visiting Kyle field).

Winston would be the lock #1 pick in the draft of he were able to come out. Hard to quibble with him winning (as it would be hard to say JFF wasn't deserving had he won). As for the rest of it, you could be right. However, when both teams are winning, Texas will still hold the advantage. Kentucky does just fine in basketball even though the SEC is generally weak sauce as a conference in basketball. They pick the school over the conference. Especially when they believe they will never seriously contend for championships at one college. The worm is turning again IMO.
